Great spot for a Father–Daughter date!
I took one of my daughters to The Black Label in Fremont for a little date night with Dad. We went around 3 PM, and the place was quiet — which was perfect. We ordered a couple of their shakes, and they were awesome! They looked like pieces of art — almost too nice to eat — and tasted just as good.
The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was clean and relaxed, and the prices weren’t bad at all. I could easily see this being a fun spot for a special party or family treat.
Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Fremont!

Stopped in for the first time on our last visit to a Fremont. Had a large group and found a high top table to sit at. Ordered at the counter. Prices were higher for the food items. Everything was pretty good.

Food was excellent. Service was TERRIBLE! Waited 10 minutes to get menus. Took 15 more minutes to take our order. The waitress told me they didn’t offer the drink I ordered. After I pointed it out on the menu she laughed and said, “I’m such a blonde.” It was 50 minutes before we got our food. We witnessed one customer walk out that had been waiting for his food at the counter for a long time. Enough time to finish his beer. Four out of five meals we’re delivered to the wrong table. People’s checks were getting messed up. They had 4 servers working, but they were also busing tables and taking money. Nice people. But service was abysmal. They were busy, but not all tables were taken.

Okay, the food was good and done in a timely fashion. Service was friendly but I thought they could’ve had more staff to speed up the process. We waited to order long enough that we were close to walking out. It wasn’t very busy but there was someone sitting outside and our server was having to cover too big of an area. Food was worth the wait. I’ll go back.

Came here with my parents for their anniversary, food quality and amount definitely did not match what I paid for. We were thinking about going somewhere else instead, and we should’ve done that. Older lady up at the counter seemed hostile as well. There is definitely better places in town to sit down and eat at.

Stopped in for a late lunch and they were swamped with only 3 staff people working. The wait was considerable but we were warned and we chose to stay. The two young ladies were running their butts off and one person in the back that I could see. The food was still great, and the service was the best they could manage. They did a great job

We lived in Fremont many years ago. We on our way home and looking for somewhere to eat for lunch at 2 PM. We viewed their web page and thought it looked interesting. We weren’t disappointed. The building is an old Wendy’s that has been totally renovated and unrecognizable. It now has a great atmosphere. The menu is mostly burgers and fries with the usual kid meals. It was what I consider high tech because you can Oder your food from your phone from your table, but also can order the traditional way at the upfront counter. Our food was brought to us. We bought the all American burger and was excellent. I would recommend it. We ordered a Turtle shake for dessert and wow, just wow. Their shakes alone are worth the drive.

Venue was clean, staff attentive.
This is basically a bar and grill. When you enter, cross the restaurant, that’s where you order, up at the counter.
The menu is on various tv’s and stands around the counter. They have a printed menu under the counter.
They are known for their milkshakes. The specialty ones are $12 and enough dessert for 3 people, in my opinion. Mine came with a pile of whipped cream, a scotcharoo, and a large cookie.
NOTE: Flavorings go in the bottom and sides of the cup. You need to mix it to get the flavor you wanted.
My husband loved his vanilla milkshake but, personally, I wasn’t a fan of the shakes. I tried his and mine. I would have liked it better if I realized I needed to stir it but still not a superfan. The presentation is excellent. The sprinkles attached to the glass were my favorite part.
The fries are like Rally’s or Burger King fries. My husband loved his burger.

Stopped in for supper from out of town. Satisfied with the burger and toppings quality but the tots were a little under cooked. The service was good but I think there was some miscommunication is we had multiple ask if we’d been helped (not a bad thing) they were all friendly just unorganized. The bad to me was the overall condition of the interior. Tape on a lot of the floor, mens room was not clean or up kept. Lots of visible urine on the wall, screws sticking out a ways, trim pieces falling off. I would recommend getting food to go.

The fries are sooooo good they have like a batter or something on them and it makes it taste like fair food. Genuinely might be my fav fries ever. I got jalapeno popper burger I think is what it’s called, so good everything was perfect imo. And then the shake!!!! We got the “premium confetti cake shake” for 12$ and it was soooooooooo worth it like that’s the coolest shake I’ve ever had it had ice cream, whipped cream, cupcake and a cone and sprinkles/ drizzle. So much fun.
