Holy cow I’m in heaven!! I came here on impulse cos I was nearby and missed my bus, and ahhh. I ordered the chicken pad kee mao, tofu spring rolls, and an iced coffee and went to sit down while it cooked. The guy brought me out an iced water and a small container of ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY JUICY sweet and spicy chicken?! It was so saucy and crispy and good, with a nice bite to it! Then my food came out, and y’all… It’s the best pad kee mao I’ve had in years, since my last favorite place moved two cities over I go to downtown food trucks all the time, and a lot of the Beaverton Thai restaurants, and this pad kee mao was the most delicious! I do wish it was spicier, but the flavor and the texture of the noodles was divine. The portion sizes are also amazing?!! I’ve never had spring rolls so big before, look at the size of it in my hand!! I was going to save those for dinner tonight, but I think I’ll have to break into one of them right after this review, once I pause in stuffing my fave with the noodles And then?! When I told the guy how good the sweet and spicy chicken was… he fried me up some more?!! What the heck, how sweet!! It’s even crispier, absolutely amazing My mouth is in heaven, I want to sing~!!

Black Thai House is a hidden gem tucked away right off Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy next to Target.
Both of the times I have come here (this will be a regular place to get Thai food from now on!!!) the service has been fantastic. The gentlemen that work here are kind, friendly & take care in making their food. They make sure to accommodate your requests to get your order perfect!
The food has been fresh, flavorful, crisp veggies, CRUNCHY spring rolls (not soggy or damp).
I got the drunken noodle, spring rolls & the Basil fried rice the spice was on point! I was sweating by the end of my meal but in a good way.
EDIT: the Basil fried rice was some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. My fiancé had some too, he is a very particular about his food & he said it was “probably the best fried rice he has ever had!”. My daughter also shares the love of Thai food with me & she said it was amazing.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I wish I could give more than 5 ⭐️!!!

Great food, clean, friendly, good portions. What else is there? The pad seew had some really good caramelization, to me that’s the sign of a cook that knows what they’re doing. Really want to come back for curry!

Been on a Thai kick lately. Trying new spots.
This place was good. Service was nice. Huge portions! We got spring rolls, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles.
The Drunken noodles were my first time and I wasn’t a huge fan of the noodles seemed over cooked and gummy. Went back and on our next trip got Pad Thai and it was everything I needed! Super yumm and a great spice level.
Open till 9:00pm most nights. Will be back for sure.

Cute little hut been there 3 times in one week the Tom yum soup is amazing!!! I get it extra spicy because I love spicy foods. Their salad rolls are delicious too. I wish I could go after church Sundays. It’s the place to go for fresh Thai food. They have a small area for sitting and dining outside covered and heated. Free dessert with dinner it’s different every day and delicious.

Pad Thai is an interesting dish to me. When you look at it from an aesthetics stand point, it looks sloppy. But the taste is usually great and this place did a great job ensuring that! The service was fast and the food well priced.
I had the chicken Pad Thai with pot stickers. I had chosen mild for my spice level but it literally felt like none was placed into it. I think going above one, if you normally eat spicy food is acceptable!
Another thing I enjoyed was the biodegradable bags and reusable plates! Good job on being environmentally conscious!
Lastly, I enjoyed how they have their menu on the exterior to the food cart area! This limits you holding up the line by not knowing what it is you want to order.

Best fresh salad rolls in town!! Excellent food. Friendly, pleasant service. They have a decent covered outside eating area that has a heater for cold days at this food truck. Easy access and parking. My Thai food go to!

Although the food was pretty good and the service was extremely friendly, I’m giving my low stars due to the containers provided. I don’t think that it is acceptable to provide plastic containers in this day and age, with the accumulation of microplastics in the environment that impacts us all. And even more directly, there is the health impact of eating hot food from plastic containers, especially black plastic, which is what my food was provided in. If Black House Thai decides to go plastic free, or even just plastic free for hot food containers, I’d be happy to change my rating and come back.
