Tried their bubble tea for the first time and green goddess wrap.
I did an online order and it was on time! Easy to navigate
I Hate to be that person but the Boba here was not good!
Not chewy, old tasting, and dissolving boba… and the “Taro” isn’t even purple… terrible flavor
The wrap was okay, the turkey was nothing special and there was WAY too many onions. Not enough green goddess dressing to call it “green goddess wrap”. Pickles also not pickled long enough
For what I paid? Not worth it for me! I hope they do better for the next customer! This place has great potential

The Black Goose Café is such a great spot—I go there often for drinks and some of the food, which is always fantastic. Overall, it’s one of my favorite cafés.
That said, on a few occasions, I believe its the manager or owner has come across as unwelcoming. The interactions felt a bit rude and not very social, almost as if customers were an inconvenience. This has only happened on limited occasions, but it stood out given how warm and friendly the café usually is.
Aside from that, the space is clean and inviting, the music playlist up front is great, and the rest of the staff is very kind. We’ll definitely continue to come back and support the café.

I’ve been coming to the Black Goose Cafe for several years and have always been pleased with food and service. However, yesterday my experience changed that. A Mediterranean salad was ordered by my guest. It was slathered in so much dressing that it was inedible. The description of the salad reads a “drizzle” of the dressing tops the salad. The salad was swimming in the dressing. We first asked if another salad could be made with the dressing on the side and were told NO. My guest asked for additional greens to add to the salad to hopefully make it more palatable. The four pieces of lettuce that were brought to the table didn’t help. I then approached and told the girl behind the counter that my guest couldn’t eat the salad. She asked if we would like another one with the dressing on the side. At that point the “manager” came rushing from behind and stated that wasn’t possible. She stated that the salads were always made this way and no one has ever complained. She further stated they never make these salads with the dressing on the side. She later denied saying that. I requested she reimburse payment for the salad as my guest could not eat it. She replied with an emphatic NO. Frustrated, I told her I was disappointed and would not return. As we finished our lunch, the manager came to the table and asked us to leave since we were done with our meals (I shared my sandwich with my guest). My guest explained that there was too much dressing on the salad, and the manager’s response was “for YOU”. Since a she was aware that we were going to leave an honest review about our experience, her way of dealing with the situation was to attempt to make excuses and justifications for the salad being smothered in dressing. Not once did she attempt to rectify the situation. The conversation between us became unreasonable. As she followed us out the door, I reminded her that she was losing a customer, her response was “that’s fine”, “we’ll survive”. How’s that for customer service? She should be ashamed of herself and behavior. What a terrible role model for the young girls working there. I hope she treats the employees better than the patrons. I hope that the owners of this cafe take this review seriously and speak to this manager about her behavior.

This little mom & pop restaurant goes beyond just a sandwich shop, offering fresh grain bowls, açai bowls, and plenty of gluten-free options—all in a beautiful waterfront setting. The atmosphere was just as great as the food! Absolutely looking forward to coming back (and highly recommend getting Buddha bowl)

Unfortunately, I almost got into an accident trying to get into the parking lot, but that’s an issue with the road not the establishment. They do have a cramped parking lot the time I came which only allows for pull-in parking. That makes pulling out to leave really tricky
I only ordered the bubble milk tea but looking forward to trying the food some other time (when I have the courage to dive into the parking lot again). Bubble tea was all dairy free which was wonderful for me as a lactose intolerant person. For a place that doesn’t specialize in bubble tea, I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was! The tapioca pearls were slightly hard but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
Atmosphere was lovely, and staff were nice.

Very bad experience.
The cappuccino was watered down and had a ton of milk. I clearly specified that I wanted a double shot of espresso, and despite that, when I mentioned it to the waitress, she simply confirmed that there were two shots without really acknowledging my dissatisfaction.
The tofu in the Buddha bowl was outrageously salty!
The mango smoothie was disappointing it was an artificial flavor.
We asked to add a small slice of cheese to a sandwich, and it was a $4 extra charge.
When we arrived, the table we took was dirty. I asked twice for it to be cleaned, and it was never done.
Overall, the prices are exaggerated for the quality and taste.
Customer service needs serious improvement, and they should hire a manager who is older and more mature.

First time at the Black Goose Cafe and they did not disappoint! Where do I start? The iced chai latte was the best I’ve tried thus far! The food was amazing the panini Margherita was superb! But my favorite was the spanakopita yummm If you’re in town make sure to stop by this cafe!

Stopped by the Black Goose Cafe for a coffee. Went with a large hot vanilla latte. Thought it was a very good coffee. Wish they had natural Stevia. Good amount of pastry options in the case.

It’s too bad that the service here is so horrible because the atmosphere and the food are great, but every time I go the service is so bad. It takes forever for the food to come out, and there’s always 4-5 girls working, and doesn’t appear to be shortage of staff. Last two times I’ve went, I had such horrible experiences I finally felt compelled to make a review. I went once and ordered some food for take out. I was waiting for the food and saw a bag come out, no one checked it and I continued to wait. Finally after 25 mins, I asked if they knew how long it would be, finally one of the girls, checked and there was my food sitting on the counter for 15 mins. Today was the last straw, I’ll never be back-I came in and ordered a muffin and tea and worked on my lap top for a bit. I was on my way to the counter to order lunch when a women approached me and said it was time for me to leave, that other customers were waiting to sit and I had been there long enough. I said excuse me? I was just about to order lunch…she proceeded to say say I didn’t need to be rude…she then questioned me if I was really going to order something, which I replied yes I was just about to order lunch. She was beyond rude and I ended up leaving without ordering. I tried to give this place a fair shot because it’s so cute and the food is great, but the staff is rude and incompetent and I’ll never be back. I was treated very poorly today when I was a good paying customer.

We came in on a Saturday for lunch and there was about a 10-15 min wait to order. Then there was another 15-20 wait for the food to come to the table. The food was delicious!
