Second visit to Black Gold Coffee and it absolutely did not disappoint. I live on the opposite coast and was in town for work, but this place was worth the stop. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is phenomenal genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in.
I even grabbed a bag to take home because it was that good. If you’re in the area, skip the chains. This is easily one of the best cups of coffee I’ve had anywhere in Florida.

Black Gold Coffee Roasters in Venice, Florida is absolutely fantastic! The coffee is truly outstanding – full of flavor and perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making you feel comfortable from the very first moment. The owner is extremely friendly and makes you feel like a regular, even if – like us – you’re just passing through on vacation.

this coffee shop has a lot of options. we had a latte and a chi latte. our daughter in law had a white chocolate mocha something that she said was delicious. I thought the chi latte was way too peppery. I will not be back for any chi.
overall it was good. everyone liked their food. it was very busy on a Saturday morning and the line was long, making it somewhat crowded in the dining area.

Wow, just wow! Black Gold Coffee Roasters is everything a coffee shop should be and more. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee is incredible and sets the stage for a fantastic experience. I tried the signature Black Gold Latte, and it was perfection in a cup – the balance of raw honey and cinnamon with the rich, smooth espresso was divine.
The atmosphere is modern, clean, and incredibly welcoming, making it the perfect spot to either catch up with a friend or get some work done. The staff deserves a special shoutout; they are so friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their coffee. You can tell they take great pride in what they do. I also grabbed a bag of their Organic Black Gold Blend to take home, and my morning coffee has never been better. Venice is lucky to have this spot. I’ll be back every chance I get!

Just left the Black Gold Coffee Roasters- what started off as a business meeting turned into something so amazing. Gary seems so passionate about his business and caring to all of his customers. THE COFFEE IS AMAZING!!!! I tried the hot honey bee and the bacon panini- I took one bite and one sip of each and I am writing this 5 star review already! Gary seems very devoted to the community and bringing people together. The ambiance of this place is amazing- smells great inside and products taste even better. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!

The baristas really deserve all the praise. Of course the coffee beans are delicious, but these baristas really know how to make a good drink (Best latte in a many mile radius.) They also do their best to remember your order (even when it’s been months), and today when I mentioned that I usually love to add an extra shot because of the flavor but can’t have that much caffeine on my medication, the lovely girl taking my order informed me you can add a decaf shot of espresso instead, and long story short this latte tastes so good i felt compelled to write this review. thanks, folks!!

Visited this coffee shop in the winter of 2024 while driving south on route 75 from Tampa to Naples. Obviously meant to write a review eons ago but slipped my mind. Fabulous coffee shop – delicious, full-bodied coffee for those who like well-brewed black coffee (me). Pleasant surprise was the lovely atmosphere – even though the shop is located in a shopping center, the locals clearly made a point to gather here which made it all the more enjoyable. Ended up stopping in on the way back north as well. Highly recommend and there is plenty of seating to have your coffee there and do a bit of work.

Absolutely amazing place! Coffee, tropical smoothie, white chocolate cranberry scone and zucchini bread all were amazing! You can buy tons of varieties of coffee. Decor is lovely too! Prices are reasonable too!

My dad took me for lunch so I didn’t have the coffee..my brother the coffee snob however swears by it.
It’s nestled into a historical building on Venice Island and has a gorgeous wrap around porch. Very nice menu..chicken salad was one of the best I’ve eaten and the hibiscus iced tea was also on point. Staff was super warm and welcoming..next time I’m coming straight for those pumpkin bread muffins. They looked delicious as did the dessert case.
It was packed ,ample seating and even a nice little green area that kids were playing and laughing..made tbe experience even better to see them chasing each other.
They will do very well in this spot! The ONLY request is to have a sandwich with turkey..(no pork.)
