Stopped in to try out black forest German food.
We figured it would be a good time during the sizzle dining menu.My wife and I both had caesar salad. We also started with a bavarian pretzel as an appetizer, which was good. She had the picata schnitzel, and I had the sourbrauten entree. While we didn’t have a reservation. We sat outside which was nice, but very hot.
We both unfortunately found what appeared to be dog hair in both of our drinks as well as our dishes. Our best guess is that the linens for the restaurants are washed and dried somewhere where there is a dog. Although this authentic german restaurant has a very good reputation.I don’t think that we will return.

Weiner Schnitzel was very good… nice crust in it. Otherwise food was not the best. Soup was good, friends had potato pancakes..they enjoyed them. The gravy on some of the main entrees was not real flavorful. I enjoyed the atmosphere.. we sat outside and that was nice. I may go back for the Weiner Schnitzel but I will not go out of my way to visit. Not a favorite… sorry. Although they were very nice.

12 out of 10! This is the second time we’ve been and loved it again. Got to meet Klaus (hope I spelled that right) the owner, who sat us at a lovely table outside. And had some of the best authentic German food for Oktoberfest! My dad loves the beer choices. It was awesome, would recommend to anyone! Thank you again Klaus.

What a great experience we had at this restaurant! You know it’s a good sign when you sit down and within 30 seconds you have bread on your table and your waiter (Jose) is asking you if you’d like a drink! The food is excellent, the beers are excellent and I can’t say enough about the dessert and coffee that we had. Overall, just a great experience and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend a visit to Black Forest!

In my opinion, the best food in Naples. Incredible comfort food. Split pea soup, potato pancakes, red cabbage, schnitzel ALL out of this world. One of the few places left in town where the food is superior over the price.

Having grown up with heavy German influence, I am picky about my German food. This restaurant absolutely blew me away. You walk inside and it smells like fresh German homemade cooking. Was very happy with my meal and the service- our server was very friendly and attentive. This was my first meal in Naples FL and I was very satisfied! Love this little gem!!

Delightful food, atmosphere, outside seating is refreshing and staff is great. LOVED the change of pace from other restaurants (steak, chicken, burgers, fish places)- Food quite good- all dishes we have tried: jargerschnitzel , chicken picant, a roast pork special and DELICIOUS red cabbage with apples was superb- sweet and delicious. Desserts quite good also. Oh and the split pea soup – WOW! Loved it! The outside seating is wonderful with a low wall of bubbling waterfalls/ water bubblers built in, open and airy and gets late afternoon shade. Will return here!!

Very small place with an older style interior. Many tables out front on a beautiful patio. Food was incredible. Wife had the veal wiener schnitzel, I had the veal Ruben schnitzel. The red cabbage is a very tasty portion of the dish. We also sampled the apple strudel which was excellent and the German chocolate cake which was beyond belief. Highly recommend giving this place a try.
Update 10-30-22 Still amazing. Owner and staff very engaged. Food is delicious. Probably our favorite Florida dining.
