We had a fantastic time at Monday trivia with Terry. The atmosphere was lively, and the crowd was full of good energy. What really made the evening shine, though, was the incredible service from our servers, Ginger and Olivia. They were attentive without missing a beat and kept everyone smiling. Their great mix of professionalism and friendliness made the night feel extra special. We can’t wait for next Monday night. Thanks for such a great experience!

I am not a big beer drinker but still enjoyed the beer flight. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. He recommended the type of beer based on our preference and he was spot on. The barrel aged Lenore was unique and had complex flavor I didn’t know can exist in stout. He was also mindful that my child wanted to have the fried chicken sandwich but the special sauce was spicy and offered to have it on the side. The dishes are all very tasty without overly seasoned, the fish and chips are delicious, crispy and light without feeling excessively greasy.

We placed a last minute takeout order to get our kids some food before our movie started and then we asked if we could still eat our meal in house, and the hostess and waitress were extremely accommodating and polite. We felt really bad about it because it was rushed and we had two small kids with us but they were amazing. Plus, the food was done fast and was really really tasty even out of our to go boxes. We are excited to come back and enjoy the good food and great service properly!

Nobody stops you at the door to enforce any ‘Black Flannel Only’ dress code because there’s no such thing here, so come as you are. Hang out in the back biergarten, front patio, or inside. QR ordering at the tables brings your snacks and cold ones straight to your table. Convenient, but as always, less personal. Both of their Italian pilsner and Kölsch on draft were stellar. Their soft pretzel was bland like the cheese dip. Mustard was okay.

We stopped in for a beer and a meal while on vaca last week. What a terrific experience. The young lady who served us was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgable about beer, food and all. The food was great, particularly the PEI muscles and broth. And then there’s the beer. Did a flight, and it’s hard to pick a favorite. But the Wortspiel has made my permanent “porch beer” list. Can’t wait until next year when we get to go back.

Big, beautiful brewpub in an old outlet mall that they’re revamping into an adult playground.
We discovered these guys at a beer festival downtown.
Great beer selection, and they seem to brew to style, which I think is great.
The Berliner Weiss is spot on, and the lager is delicious.
We ordered the smash burger with fries, it was good, maybe a bit too salty but I didn’t mind.
Super friendly staff.
Didn’t get to try their canned cocktails or spirits, as I was driving.
Another great place in the area to add to the pub crawl!

Beer is always a hit, food leaves a lot to be desired. Got a smash burger that while was a good burger, wasn’t a true smash burger. The patty was fairly thick, and cooked to a rare/med rare temp, with no caramelization one would expect on a proper smash burger. Definitely not worth almost $20. I’ll come back for beer but the food here has been consistently underwhelming for a while now

If you want to put something on the menu, at least do it well. Maybe it was the feeling of emotional abuse I took away from just watching Wuthering Heights, but as an avid chef myself, I would never serve muscles in a bowl of tomato soup. Take a page from the French and use a bottle of wine and a couple sticks of butter, leave the tomatoes in the garden. Menu is chopped, stick to what a brewery does best, burger and fries were not bad. Might give it another chance in the future, if I want a solid beer.

April 2024 update: Excellent food and service. Had the wings and a chicken sandwich. Both were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Server was helpful and attentive.
Good experience overall. I had the fish and chips. Fish was great, battered well cooked perfectly. The fries were not crispy, but tasted okay. My wife had the crab cake sandwich. She said it was very tasty. I have had a few beers from here and have never been disappointed. The service was good, especially considering how busy they were.
