I stopped in on my way through town to get a hot latte for my drive. I would have liked to stay for a bit, as the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The latte was honestly one of the best I’ve had, and I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops as I travel. I just got a plain latte and the espresso was bold, flavorful, and so smooth. Absolutely delicious.

I tried the Dirty Black Dog and it’s a wonderful spiced chai+coffee latte. Usually, I refrain from mixing chai spice and coffee, but these guys have done an awesome job creating this drink. The blend is comforting and delectable! My friend tried a pumpkin pie latte and loved it. Definitely recommend this place!

This is our third coffee stop in the last hour looking for good coffee. We’re from Washington State and Black Dog is exactly like the unique coffee shops with perfectly pulled shots and great drinks back home. An eclectic and unique experience, this shop is warm, welcoming, and comfortable. Great tasting coffee and an awesome vibe to hang out and chill. We’ll be back, whenever we’re back in Logan.

Neat place, but beware.
Simply went for a gift card and was illegally charged sales tax. Owner said she pays tax on everything so the gift cards are taxed as well. Sadly will be my last transaction there. If buying a gift card be adamant about it not being taxable.

Really fun coffee shop. It looked small from the outside but there are several rooms in there. There are a nice variety of things offered. Foods and drinks. Great spot to hang out.

After stopping in Logansport for lunch, I decided I needed a caffeine fix. I looked up local coffee shops and stumbled upon Black Dog Coffee. It is a small shop attached to another business, so I missed the location on the first drive by their address. I entered to a well-appointed lounge with plenty of seating and background music playing. It looked like a great place to visit during a rainy day. I had the zebra mocha, which was a delicious white chocolate and dark chocolate mix. It wasn’t particularly busy when I stopped in, which gave me some time to walk around and view the artwork and knickknacks on the walls. The coffee only cost about $5 with tip, so it’s similar in cost to a Starbucks drink. I would say the coffee and flavors were better, however. I was impressed that something like this would find a home in Logansport. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for a chill coffee shop in the area.
