Food was okay. But no service at all! My water tasted like bleach. The server did not ask if we needed anything or refill water. Ordered steak and eggs no steak knife, never came back to the table. Had to ask another worker for a knife what was playing with money in his hands and picked his nose standing next to the kitchen. Our bill did not match the meun prices when this was brought up to our server she got bad and still did not bring the right change back. Not sure how this is place is even open. Four workers and they all were confused and did not know how to server or what to do. Very interesting vibe, definitely would not come back, should have walked right out.

I can’t believe this place- and I can’t believe the recent positive reviews from “Local Guides” – sheesh who are these liars?!. From the moment I walked in, I had doubts. To begin with, in spite of being practically empty, I get put at the table underneath a very loud house speaker blasting obnoxious teenage girl pop music at 10am in the morning.. ok, but it has good recent reviews… not so fast! Next I am brought a cup of coffee and upon closer inspection, and unfortunately after several gulps, I notice that the coffee mug was not clean and appeared to have been gotten out of the dirty dish bin. I try so hard to be chill about it and ask for another mug of coffee b/c of this. Ok.. so then while I wait with only the loud music of an 8th grade girl sleepover to keep me company, I am not attended to by my server (who seemed to not speak very good English) in spite of the emptiness of the restaurant.. I run out of coffee and water, and wait for some service, but alas, I must flag her down and ask for a second cup of coffee. The two eggs, finally comes and, for $20, is very disappointing. I get it- this is a Colorado resort and it’s the 2020s so my hard earned US dollars aren’t worth what they once were (5 years ago).. the sausage patties were about 1 centimeter thick, the “sourdough” toast turns out to be cheap Texas Toast burned tasting, the home fry potatoes “meh”… alright I just want to get out of here and cannot believe I made the decision to waste the time and money here. The final insult comes though as I am about to pay and do some quick math, it appears that I’m being charged about $8 for coffee and ask about this.. turns out I was charged for each cup of coffee, AFTER INITIALLY GETTING A FILTY MUG! The waitress sheepishly acknowledged this and then reduced charge for coffee down to just one cup.. but ok, I just have to say that it shouldn’t be $28 for two eggs, two sausage patties, potatoes, toast and two cups of coffee.. don’t walk, RUN(!) from the Black Diamond Grille

It is a very fun and nice place, the people are very friendly and sociable the views from the restaurant are very beautiful and more in winter, there are varieties of products and above all the attention offered by the waiters is very good, I recommend the place 100% since their food leaves your soul happy.

Food is good with large portions. Relatively fast for how small the kitchen is. Steak and eggs are on point, pancakes are really good as well. Usually only one server on so be patient if its busy. . They have a basic bar and basic espresso options. Solid little spot, thumbs up.
