Stopped in for lunch and I was glad I did. They were crazy busy and we got the only seat that was available but we didn’t have to wait at all to be seated. The servers were all super friendly. The sandwiches were HUGE!! They were also delicious. The other customers all seemed to be really happy and enjoying what ever they ordered too. I heard an older couple saying this was the best restaurant in Fruitland. The ambiance was great also. I would definitely recommend the Black Cow. I bet if you try anything on the menu, you’d be happy. Buy the way, the Mac and cheese was spectacular!

Love this restaurant, the mac & cheese literally the best. I drive about 45 minutes away from my house just to come get their mac & cheese. I’ve had lots of their food all so good. It’s comfort food the atmosphere and the service is very homelike. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. So good so worth the drive.

Stopped at Black Cow Eats & Drinks and loved it! The sandwiches are huge and absolutely delicious. Fries were fantastic, especially with their house-made fry sauce, and the brown sugar cake was outstanding. Great service too—friendly and thorough. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.

First time here. Love the location and style, looks great. Food was delicious. Our server was ok but never came back after our food was delivered. No drink refills and had to wait for a box. I also have concerns about the chairs on wheels. That feels like an accident waiting to happen. I would go again.

My girlfriend wanted to go for dinner & I had never been to the restaurant before. The table was a little dirty & so was one of the chairs. There was a piece of meat on the table next to the napkin holder from a previous customer. I had to clean my chair because it had crumbs on it. My girlfriend ordered a chicken sandwich and seemed to like it. I ordered finger steaks & they weren’t good at all. I tried a few different finger steaks but they were all mostly fat & not edible. The very little meat that was edible was pretty mushy & the breading wasn’t that great. We did get a side of macaroni and cheese & it was ok, definitely had better. The best finger steaks I’ve had are in Midvale, no fat whatsoever.

A quaint little place in Fruitland, Idaho, decorated with antiques. Order at the counter, and they bring the food out to the table.
I ordered the cowboy Cuban samminch with ham, shredded pork, pickle, mustard and mayo. The bun was stuffed and so was I after finishing it. I wasn’t going to, but it was probably the best samminch I’ve ever eaten. There was a lot of mayo, so adjust your order to your liking.
Service was great as well! There will be another trip there in the near future. Closes at 2PM. Well done folks!
UPDATE: I had reviewed the Black Cow at their old location just down the street. Now they have new digs and the place is classy. Everything is new. They also serve adult beverages, but we just had water. Not sure if they had a TV over the bar or not, as we sat on the other side of the place.
The main squeeze and I split the spicy chicken samminch and an order of fries. When I cut the sammie in half, I noticed it was not cooked through. After letting Katie know about it, she had them make another one and it was really good. Cheesy with grilled jalapenos that gave the sammie a nice bite. The fries were dynamite. They ended up comping the meal due to the first sammy.
I would normally give a place 3 or 4 stars for this, but the customer service was beyond great as was the samminch. They take good care of their customers. Looking forward to the next visit when I go to Ontario.

This is a Very biased post as I am tired after four 12 hour shifts and right after the event. I called ahead to ask if this was a kid family friendly establishment as I had never been here before. I’ve only heard good things about the food and not really much about the atmosphere. I went in to get dinner with my child not to long after I called. as soon as we step through the door everyone at the tables by the entrance goes quiet and look over at us. We find a table that that just so happens to be in the middle of one of their side rooms the waitress gives us our menu not a word more. Didn’t ask if we wanted to water or any kind of drink. After maybe 3 minutes of being in there, could have been more, I could clearly read the vibe of the place and I didn’t want to disturb the couples as this was clearly not a kid family establishment. Maybe if the kids were teenagers however this is not a family friendly place. This is a young adult and up establishment. It was a complete waste of my time as I am hungry without any food after being lied to when I called ahead. Also people talk about fair prices however looking in that menu I’m not sure, the dinner menu did not have much of a selection for the time I had to stair a hole in it so that I didn’t have a panic attack from the environment.

10 out of 10 ! Best sandwich I’ve had in a long long time , price was more than fair for the Sasquatch size sandwiches they serve, staff was friendly, food and drinks were seriously so good. Cannot wait to come back !

Wow can’t say enough about how nice it was to dine here. We were here for a late lunch and the sandwiches were loaded with meat. Their fry sauce was amazing. The waitress was so pleasant. We live in Nampa and will definitely be back. Worth the drive!!!
