I always like to try a BBQ place when I see one I haven’t been to before. I should have known that it wasn’t going to be a true BBQ experience as there wasn’t a smoker in sight. I ordered takeout as I was staying in a hotel two blocks away.
The brisket was obviously reheated on a flat top as is evident in the photo. No bark, just liquid smoke flavor. Needless to say my worries came true.
My advice is to bypass. If you don’t mind a mediocre BBQ experience, you can sample it yourself. It is not “True Texas BBQ” as they claim.
The staff was friendly and the facility was clean, I just wish the food was just as good.

Stopped by for a pulled pork sandwich but ended up trying the loaded ribbon fries. A little pricey but really enjoyed it. I often stay away from “loaded” items because they can not be loaded enough but not the case here. Only a cold beer would have made this better. Thanks.

Good BBQ. Been wanting to try and finally did. Had the chopped brisquet. Loves the beans as well. Liked eating outdoors.

I first heard of this smoked meat from a close friend she then became a cook there and has been working 4yrs. there since. I tried their smoked pulled pork and fell in Love. Now as an employee I am truly blessed to.have this great job and awesome food in Roswelk, NM. My favorite is Bobs Burger give it a try!!

The recipes are excellent, but I was very disappointed by the Cowboy Joe sandwich because it was almost entirely fat. What meat was in the cubes was delicious. The tender parts of the fried okra were excellent, but most of the okra was tough, stringy and inedible. My daughter enjoyed her burger and the spiral fries were delicious- they were crispy, light and about the best I’ve ever had. It could have been a great lunch.

Overall was good. Not busy at all around 1pm. Food quality was decent. Could use improvements on the Mac and cheese as well as the chopped barbecue. There could definitely be more variety of sides as well as the quality. Corn could have more flavor as well. Barbecue sauce was very tasty. Would recommend to try at least once!

First time here.
1. No AC, be prepared to feel like you’re inside the smoker..literally.
2. I ordered 2 meat plate combo. Brisket & Ribs, the best part we’re the sides(onion rings and Cole slaw) that tells you everything. Brisket was chewy, and ribs didn’t have flavor.
3. Payed 25$ for this plate. Not worth it.

Call in advance to place an order. There was a long long long time to wait from the time we ordered to the time we got our food. One other couple In the place who had been waiting quite some time before we got there as well.
Low and slow is how I like it cooked not delivered to be eaten.
Food I am assuming was made out back in the BBQ trailer but by the time we got it went half a mile up the road to eat it the sandwich was cool and the onion rings were cold. Keeps a 3 star rating because it was really good but could only imagine if it was hot how good it would of been.

Don’t waste your money on this place. Called in 3 plates to go and orders weren’t correct, food was cold, brisket was terrible and tasted old, the sausage serving size is laughable and I’ve had boiled hot dogs that were better than this smoked sausage. No sauce with any of the meals and the brisket needed sauce to cover the taste of day old meat. Pretty sure the potato salad came out of a container bought from the grocery store. Definitely not homemade sides for sure. Oh by the way these 3 plates with mediocre BBQ cost us $62. So if I could give it 0 stars I would but since I can’t it barely gets 1 star and 2 thumbs down.
