Service was good, but they served me a burger that was literally raw! Blood soaked bun and everything, then when I sent it back they just threw the same burger back on the grill or whatever and served it backed to me on the same blood soaked bun!! That cook should be fired, they comped it but I couldn’t eat with my family I had to take it home to go. Everything I give this place a chance it’s always wrong.

The place was absolutely packed when we were there. Service was a little slow. Nothing to complain about my tri-tip seemed a tad dry, but nothing terrible atmosphere was great as the Black Bear came around and entertained the kids. This was my first visit to the Woods Cross UT location. However, it met my standards as has been set by the Saint Charles Missouri one great selection on the menu, reasonably priced for the quantities & quality of what you get, and everyone is pleasant and helpful and kind.

Great place to stop. friendly service. And great food. We stopped here on our way back home on a motorcycle on a very hot day. They made sure we had plenty of ice in our drinks. much needed in the heat.

I usually love coming to black bear diner and I will still continue to just not at this location… The biggest complaint of the evening would have to be the food quality. Steaks came out cold and raw so it was sent back, the waitress then had to remind the cooks to check on the steak which ended up coming back over cooked. Cooked veggies were cold, potatoes and gravy were warm and crusted over from sitting under a heat lamp! I felt like I was eating microwave leftovers. The plate seemed like it was premade just waiting for someone to pay for it. The coleslaw was only cabbage and carrots thrown together with no mixture of seasoning. The one good part of the evening was our waitress Carlie she was a huge help and listened politely to our complaints. She went above and beyond at making amends.

The food was really good. Not great, but it’s definitely worth a try. I had their Classic French Toast with strawberries. Got like 6 strawberry slices. Kind of made me sad, but it was very tasty! Was not a fan of their Country Potatoes. Husband had the Country Fried Steak and really enjoyed it. Overall, pretty good.

Guess I am a slow leaner. Eat here every few months. Everytime something is over or under cooked. Wife had eggs Benedict, poached yolks were hard. I ordered over medium they were barely over easy with runny whites. It really isnt that difficult to cook eggs but this place cant seem to get a handle on it.

My grandson ordered a baked potato with his dinner and it came with mashed potatoes and gravy. When we asked the waiter, he said they were out. He didn’t bother to let us know so we could make another choice. I never got my pancakes even though we reminded him and he told us hey would be out in 2 minutes. Our waiter was nice but they need to communicate with their customers. We won’t be going back!!

The family loves Blackbear. It has a fun atmosphere for the kids. There were a lot of big groups (we had 12), so a bit of a wait to get in, but the staff was nice. The food is good. I recommend the breakfast menu, but they also have good burgers. I wish they had marinara sauce in addition to the fetacini as some of my kids dont like white sauce. A not so common item on the menu is the taco salad, I personally really like it.
