The food was okay. The facility was clean however it was not a desirable experience. As a business owner I understand needing to save booths for bigger parties, however when you have at least 6 booths on one side of the cafe and you place couples in tiny booths where they can’t sit next to each other and put 2 men in big booths designed for four – the argument of needing to sit that way to save booths for bigger parties is hogwash! When we arrived there were 5 empty full sized booths and one with 2 guys. One tiny booth with a couple and no one else. We were escorted to a tiny table or booth where we could not sit next to each other. While we were there, the couple left and 2 more guys came in and were promptly seated at a full size booth. Next time we go to breakfast we will be choosing a restaurant that is more couple friendly where we can sit together. We like Black Bear Diners, but we will pass on this one.

It’s one of the best maintain and clean Black Bear Diners that I been in. From the great customer service the manager was paying.to all the customers and the attentiveness of correcting the rud cashier and explaining in detail to the employees how to correctly serve the customers. The cooks are doing such a great job. The food was cooked perfectly in a timely manner. IF YOUR IN THE ARE PLEASE GIVE THEM A TRY.

We ordered three individual turkey dinners due to the fact that I have an injury and could not host Thanksgiving Dinner this year. My husband, daughter and I were expecting the same quality as the large group Thanksgiving dinners we have ordered in the past, but did not receive the same quality. We were very disappointed. The mashed potatoes and school cafeteria grade turkey were smothered in gravy after we requested the gravy on the side and the salad was brown and disgusting. We paid almost $100 for a less than a mediocre family dinner.

Ordered the house made sausage patty and eggs for breakfast with a side of gravy. Good country potatoes.

The sausage patty is definitely not the stsndard ‘Sysco’ sausage patty most restaurants serve. Recommended.

The intention of home cooked meals is noticed. Some plates have good portions. The prices are comparable to other places. There were 2 waitresses during our visit during the dinner rush. Wait time was like 45 minutes. Some dishes are hit or miss, 2 of our 4 entrees were good, 2 were mediocre/ ok.

Black bear diner is a chain, so whether they are good depends entirely on management. This place seems to keep it together as the food was excellent (tri-tip french dip was EXCELLENT and the onion rings were as well). Best aspect was definitely the service. Vanessa was amazing and attentive and Hector was extremely polite and amicable to fixing something when we brought it up to him. Definitely an example of what a black-bear diner should be like 🙂

We came into town as we met some family. We had breakfast and man this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent and hot and fresh. I had a waffle and bacon and eggs and my other family member’s got their favorites and were really satisfied after a great meal. The portions are big and we even got to take home what we couldnt eat so we could have it later. The service was excellent. Our waitress was so nice. She was there everytime we needed her and popped in even to check if we were happy and needed anything more. The atmosphere is great there. My father met another Vietnam veteran having breakfast and they talked as well. Just a wonderful little place with amazing service and great food and handicap ♿️ parking for my Father.
