My friend and I dropped off our husbands and knew instantly that they were in good hands. The two young ladies running the place had it under control. Great conversationalists, friendly, with a great sense of humor. We didn’t have any food, but the beer was cold, and the place had a cool atmosphere. Will definitely visit each time we are in town.

We enjoy coming here for drinks, and a couple of years ago we loved the pretzel and cheese dip that’s still advertised in your window and on your website. Unfortunately, for the second year in a row on New Year’s Eve, you were completely out of it.

New Year’s Eve is a predictable high-volume night, yet there were only two bartenders working extremely hard to keep up. This is a night you know will be busy, and better preparation would go a long way.

I also noticed a birthday cake martini advertised on your website and asked if it could be made, but was told it wasn’t possible because the bar was too busy. I understand limited menus during holidays, but running out of a staple item like the beer pretzel two years in a row —especially when it’s still being advertised—is disappointing. Order more from your vendors, be more prepared for a flux of customers. Hire more staff.

Just very disappointing!

What a beautiful bar. How much business could they bill if it was staffed and resourced? This one amazing Manager and one new cook were working a packed place. They were running like crazy. The two brats were good. They were out of 3 of 5 sides and out of 2 of the available drafts. It is Thursday. If I had a job for these two amazing employees, I would hire them in a heartbeat. I hope that this bare restaurant stays in business for a long time. Owner – please rescue your hardworking employees.

Absolutely great place to eat and drink! If you want authentic German food, this is your place. The fried bologna sandwich is great. Lots of Brats too! Potato salad served warm like it should be!

I don’t know the bartenders names, but they were out of nearly everything on the menu due to the holiday delays and business from the warm weather. These girls provided the absolute best service and handled disgruntled customers with solid professionalism, while staying incredibly attentive to the crowd. They deserve a raise and all the tips.

Me and my husband went in the have a beer. We sat at a table and the bartender looked at me 4 times and went and put dishes up. My husband walked up to the bar so he could order drinks and she looked at him and said bye to the guy next to him leaving. Ignored him still. Another bartender came in and walked behind the door and they started talking. The first bartender was cursing about something. My husband came back to the table, been there 15 minutes now, and we got up to leave. The first bartender sees us get up and decides she better ask us of we want a drink. Told her no thanks, we wanted that 20 minutes ago. She said okay have a good day. First and last time in there. Don’t recommend it.

Service was pretty good. Loved my Reuben best I have had in a long time. Very filling. Husband had a fried bologna sandwich it was a real piece of bologna. The place is small not good for big families. Good place to hang out and have some drinks. All and all we will come back.

We had a good enough time. Very nice atmosphere and comfortable. Both employees (1 that was “new” and 1 that was training her/back up from a distance) openly admitted that they both had no idea what they were doing which was strange. TVs and plenty of drinks options were great!

Was looking for a hot toddy but they don’t serve any hot beverages. Opted for the Chocolate Kiss which was a good replacement. Some cool saddle seats at a table by the bar.
