We were down in Perry for a livestock show. We decided we wanted to have an adult beverage and something different food wise. This restaurant popped up on my radar and off we went. The food, drinks, and service were spectacular. I was really impressed with the sheer , no pun intended, amount of drink options. The burger that I chose was out of this world and I couldn’t even finish it – just fantastic flavors. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely come back if in the area in the future.

We were down in Houston County for differing reasons, but when I asked if he wanted to meet for lunch I expected him to say Olive Garden or Longhorns.
I had to use Waze to get here from where I was in Perry, but its got a great exterior and the venue is gorgeous on the inside.
Their beer selection is very impressive. They have a whole wall of taps. And a dedicated TV screen that scrolls through the choices so the server isn’t having to recite them.
The menu is rather dull because they only serve burgers as entrees but they have some crazy choices on those.
I had the Cheesy Boi and he had the Everything Avocado. We both enjoyed them.
We will definitely be back!

Had a great impromptu date night at Black Barley K & T. Started off wing some Aloha wings, Island Nectar, & Strawberry Basil Mojito. Then we followed on with the Big Dill and the Black & Bleu burgers with Brussel Sprouts and Waffle Fries as our sides. Only compliant i have is we had to go home and drifted off to sleep quicker than expected on our Netflix movie. Very good experience, attentive staff, and a well cooked meal for a Tuesday outing.

First time. I got a to-go order. My lemon pepper wings had little to no lemon pepper seasoning. The wings weren’t freshly cooked, as their sign says on the door. Onion rings were okay, the fries with my burger weren’t fresh either, but seasoned well. Burgers tasted okay. Patties looked pre cooked and kept warmed. I think the food is probably better if you dine in, but I still expect fresh bc I made the order online sitting outside the restaurant. So, it wasn’t just sitting there.

We went to this restaurant for the second time back in February. The first time was so good, and we were excited to come back. Instead of dining in like the first time, we ordered ahead online and went to pick it up and bring the food back, as we were visiting with family that day. When we get back to the house and open the containers everything appears to be good until we bite into the burgers. Unfortunately, they were nearly raw and cold in the center. They were completely inedible. I called back to the restaurant to let them know of the issue, and they kindly offered me a refund. However, their online ordering system is technically a third party and I paid with Apple Pay, so they were unable to process a refund. I was told to just file a dispute with my bank, because there was nothing they could do. I called back after my bank denied my dispute, and they did offer to give me a gift card if I came back in. I explained to them that I was visiting family when we got food from there and lived two and a half hours away. So, coming back in was impossible. I was told that the owner would contact me to try and make it right, but no attempt was ever made. It’s been three months and I have not been back to the area. It’s too bad that we spent nearly $30 on inedible burgers. The onion rings were good though!

Had terrific service on the patio, even though we were ‘one of those groups’ (my words, not our server’s) that had several people, all on separate checks. Our server still gave us superior attention, and the food was well-timed and prepared exactly to order. Always a great experience here, they’ve taken great care of us everything we go!

Had a $60 pick up order tonight and couldn’t be more disappointed. We got 4 appetizers and a “craft burger”. Each appetizer was supposed to come with a sauce, and I paid for 2 extra sauces…no sauce to be found. The fried pickles were HARD and chewy..so old. The Mac and cheese bites were cold and pretty empty and bland. The southwestern eggrolls were edible but with no dipping sauce, disappointing. The “craft burger” was SO dry and the patty was weird tasting. The burger was also, way, way too spicy for no reason. Asked for no red onion, had red onion. Honestly inedible. Brussle sprouts would be better if they had less sauce. Ironic.

There was so much beer to chose from! The food was wonderful. Three people in our party and we all had burgers and each one was very tasty with great portions. But ohy goodness the beer selection was just out of this world. Our server was very helpful and patient. Great staff.

Gotta be truthful. I would not have stopped by Black Barley. However, my office had a Christmas lunch there back in December. I got the classic burger with fried egg and tots. It was great enough that I came back with a coworker today. Got the same burger and tots again. This is probably the best burger in town now in my opinion. I will make this a regular lunch stop. Can’t drink during lunch but the beer selection is great. Recommend this place just for the burgers.

This place is pretty awesome!!! They have an extremely huge selection of choices on tap. It can almost be overwhelming, but don’t let that discourage you because you can sample you don’t know what you want that’s OK they’ll help you figure that out! Our server Madison was amazing 10 out of 10!! The food was amazing and it was very good. My favorite was the side salad, and the Korean barbecue sauce for their wings!!! Oh my God I want a whole bottle of this to take home! I love brussels sprouts. It’s definitely something I try everywhere I go. These were good. Next time. I think I want them toss them balsamic vinaigrette instead of their lemon vinaigrette.! This is what 20 wings looks like their salad was a decent size
