Haven’t been here in 16 years and decided to try it out after getting a coupon in the mail. Trying somethibg different and new sounded nice. Food was yummy as you would expect. Nothing over the top amazing, but a good value. A bonus was the wine being 1/2 price! Of course just an average brand, but it was good. Service was not horrible but not as attentive as we would have liked. The waitress was friendly, but gave other tables more attention and time. The only thing she forgot was the bread, and when we asked she apologized and brought it right away. I think I would come back, but not running back.

I ate here in June of 2017. The server told us the restaurant was closing in 30 something days. What a shame. I really liked the ambiance. The service was great. Our server worked there for along time.
I ordered the Tritip with a Cesar salad and Coleslaw. We also ordered the nacho appetizer. The servings were huge. They also brought out a honey molasses bread for us to eat. The food came out very quick and the server was very attentive. I don’t think my glass ever reached empty.
The food was very good and the steak was cooked exactly as requested. Normally I would say I would come back here again but I don’t have that option since they are closing. What a shame.

My husband and I decided to go out for dinner kind of late tonight. We had to wait about 35 minutes to be seated, but it was totally worth it. Our waitress was very prompt and we didn’t have to ask for refills or anything. The food was fabulous and our waitress gave us a coupon for our dinner and it was a nice surprise when we saw our bill. We will definitely be back!

What can I say Black Angus is a pretty good place to get a pretty good meal. Nothing spectacular, just a decent meal for a decent price & a decent atmosphere. Our server tonight was excellent. She took good care of us for sure!. Decor in this location is dated, could use a remodel but its not bad, just showing its age. Cost included alcoholic drinks.

Food: Didn’t come out as ordered. When I did get my steak it was substantially over cooked. IMO, it is inexcusable that a steakhouse can’t cook a steak to order. I took half the steak home and fed it to my dog.
Service: Barely OK. Management did not visit the table after delivery issues and nothing was comp’ed.
Venue: Reasonably nice, so rustic feel.
Overall, a less than great experience and I have never been back. Not many Black Angus’s left and unless they fix their quality and customer service issues I’m certain this one will end up closed as well.

I’ve never seen a waiter that uncomfortable. Someone delivered our appetizer to the wrong table. When our waiter came to check on us next, our main course had arrived. I pointed this out and he discovered what had happened and brought our appetizer with dessert. It was clear that he knew this was wrong and felt uncomfortable with the results, but our bill sure didn’t reflect that.
If you’re going to send out a coupon to try to get people to come back, maybe you should make sure they’re satisfied before they leave. I’m sure it wasn’t our waiter who both made the mistake and didn’t offer us something to make up for it. It’s clearly a management problem.
It’s no wonder the wait was only a half an hour on a Saturday when everything else in town was over an hour. Stuart Anderson wouldn’t be happy.

Travelling on business with my partner and after a long day of work we called ahead and make reservations for dinner. The place was packed but we were promptly seated, and everything from there on was great. Absolutely perfect steak, lobster, and ceasar salad. The drinks were strong and just the ticket. The server was very friendly and and efficient. Great experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

I went there on 2/13 Thursday night. I asked for a table for 2 and was told there was a 25-30 minute wait. There was 5 empty 2 person tables that I could see from where I was standing. We went to the bar where the service was slow. We ordered the prime rib. After approx 25 minutes the prime rib arrived. My order was for rare. The meat was pan seared on both sides and the food was cold. The meat had no flavor and was so bad we just paid our bill and left. This was after a long wait to just get the waitress to get our bill. I used to go here all the time, but have not been in the last couple years. Something changed and I will not be returning.

I thoroughly enjoy the ambiance, staff and social bar. I am a patron there several times a month and find the food absolutely wonderful! From the mixed drink specialties, to the excellent appetizers perfectly cooked entrees all the way down to the decadent desserts. Quality, quantity and price are hands down better than the Keg or Outback anytime!

This place is inconsistent. I have had some great meals and some not-so-great meals. The good meals are far more common than the mediocre ones, though. My one big issue with here is the seating. If you have a larger party they often try to squeeze you into a booth that is just a little too small. All that being said, it is one of my regular choices for a dinner with my family.
