I can’t help but admit that I’m slightly disappointed with this restaurant. To start, we made reservations for 6:30. We arrived at 6:33 pm (obviously late on our part), checked in, but we didn’t end up getting seated until 6:58. I understand that we were late, but it made me question the validity of the reservation to start.

Once seated, we were greeted by our waitress and our order was taken. We ordered the Spinach artichoke dip, house salad, New York Strip, Salmon, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and the mac and cheese. Out of this entire lineup, the only item that stuck out as “above-average” was the steak. Everything seemed to lack flavor, and that “wow” factor. Granted, it is more of an affordable steakhouse, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The restaurant itself was mostly clean. Some of the seating seemed pretty worn, but the tables were sturdy. We probably won’t be back, but if you’re looking for just an “okay” night out, this place should do the trick!

Visited Black Angus in Goodyear and had a fantastic experience. I ordered the bone‑in ribeye, and it was excellent — cooked to perfection with great flavor and a perfect sear. For an appetizer, I went with the crab cakes, and they were absolutely worth the wait: crisp on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor.

The Chipotle lobster mashed potatoes were another standout. Rich, creamy, and with just the right kick, they’re definitely something I’d recommend trying if you stop by.

Overall, a great meal with dishes that really hit the mark. I’d gladly return for another steak night.

This was my first time at Black Angus Steakhouse in Goodyear, and I was absolutely impressed from start to finish!

Right when I walked in, I was greeted by Ms. Bonnie, the manager — such a lovely person! Her warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for the evening. She’s one of those people who make you feel instantly welcome. I was then seated and served by Ms. Jessica, who was just as wonderful — attentive, professional, and friendly. She suggested some great menu options and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. She deserves a raise!

I decided to go with the Dinner for One special, and it was absolutely delicious. I started with the calamari strips, followed by salmon with rice pilaf and broccoli in garlic butter — everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I finished my meal with a crème brûlée, which was the perfect sweet ending!

The restaurant itself is very clean, the restrooms well-maintained, and the staff incredibly kind and conversational. Lots of parking space, it’s an open parking lot. Free parking. The entire atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch.

This is truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back — highly recommend this location if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and genuine hospitality!

Came here for an early dinner. This was our first visit. The staff were professional and friendly. Bonnie was awesome, she informed us that we could also purchase steaks and grill them at home or freeze them. That is something we will definitely consider as the pricing looks great for that option!! Ordered ribeyes med rare. They were absolutely delicious!! The sidekick items came in very small portions but were very good. The bartender made us non alcoholic beverages the were out of this world good and very large!! We never got to the water. Blackberry ginger ale and strawberry lemonade!! The bathrooms and carpets seem outdated and need of replacing otherwise, I would given five stars. I think at those prices the environment should be upgraded!!

First time here. Ok, gonna be honest: if you’re in a hurry, this may not be your place, but if you’re not, you’ll love it.
When you arrive, they greet you with warm, homemade-style bread and delicious butter.
We ordered the deluxe meal for two (or something like that). It has an appetizer, four sides, and filet mignon and lobster for two.
I have one word to describe it: “Spectacular.”
The food is delicious, the meat is out of this world. I ordered loaded potato skins as an appetizer, and we had salad, mac and cheese, French fries, and broccoli. Everything was really, really delicious.
For dessert, we ordered crème brûlée, and it truly left us speechless. The long wait was TOTALLY worth it. Congratulations

My husband and I go out for date night every Friday. It’s something we just started doing recently. Last night was our 3rd date night, and we came here.

When we walked in it was about a 15 minute wait. I think we were seated faster than that. The entrees alone are super expensive for 95% of the menu.. I’m talking like $53 per person.

I had a 6 oz steak, lobster, green beans and a baked potato. I was asked if I wanted onions or mushrooms on my steak so I said both. This was the only thing that kind of threw me off about this place. I was asked as if it was something that came with the steak and then once I got the bill it was $4 added for the toppings. Kind of felt excessive since it was maybe four halves of some mushrooms and like a quarter of an onion. I had also paid $53 for the meal already which was probably 10-12 green beans, a 6 oz steak, a baked potato with some cheese and sour cream, and two pieces of lobster.

The food was good but all in all it just felt like the expense was a bit ridiculous compared to other places.

Huge shoutout to Black Angus for providing an amazing Thanksgiving dinner for To-Go within 24 hours notice. The food was wonderful, great portions, and couldn’t ask for a better price.

When I showed up at 11:30a for pick up, the restaurant was very busy and appeared to have a wait, on Thanksgiving day. I see why.

Food was excellent! We tried ribeye (bone in and out) and the prime rib…. All perfectly cooked and seasoned. I ordered the garlic butter and onion/mushrooms on mine. That right there was a meal but oh no!… you get to pick 2 sides lol. We all agree the au gratin potatoes were the best. Green beans were more blanched than cooked. Manager came around and talked to us for a while and our waitress was on point with meeting/anticipating needs. Both extremely pleasant!
