The Baseline
The Baseline: For Thai food it must have traditional ingredients (basil, chilis, curry, etc), be prepared well, and have the right adjustments to spiciness.
November 2025 update:
Food: I didn’t hold back on the spice for the Soybeans or the Garlic noodles I ordered and I wish I went mild over medium. The food was still tasty but I let my perceived tolerance get ahead of me (shame on me). Still love coming to BKK Street Thai for my Thai food fix.
Service: Great service for my take out order. No complaints.
Ambiance: Came in to pick up for take out but everything was clean in the dining area.
March 2025 Update:
Food: BKK Street Thai is great Thai food! I get it for takeout most of the time but the taste is super. The spicy garlic green beans are becoming my go to if I am not in full curry mode. The fried tofu is awesome and worth trying as an appetizer. The chicken satay is delicious with a delectable peanut sauce. They always adjust for my spice mood and always ask.
Service: Great service every time I go. They are really attentive in a sit down service and always efficient with take out orders.
Ambiance: This is a great privately owned restaurant with cool neon lighting and the tables are well situated to the space. You can watch the cooks prepare you food over the prep counter.

We had the ginger rice which is incredibly tasty.

Had lunch today with my wife. The BKK Street Lunch Fried Chicken and Skewers were delicious! Service was at the right pace and attentive. Will come back again.

I ordered Door Dash from here while I was having a really bad cold and let me tell you that their Tom Kah soup brought me back to life and sent me on my merry way . Their Pad Thai was also really good, couldn’t get enough of it.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was remind me of Thailand, good vibes, relaxing, and calm Thai music get an adequate amount of food for what you’re paying for cooked to good
The only issue is the yellow curry is a little watery, but if you put that with the rice.

I want original Thai food , then I see in Uber
1.yum woon sen = I don’t like it test fake lime and not test like Thai , pork test good but should be minced pork
2. Tom Kay Kai = test like Thai but to much lime and chicken very dry
3. Herbal wings = I love it test original Thai and recommend !!
4. Thai tea = test thai and I like but to sweet if you don’t like sugar nit recommend I wish if you can pick level sugar will be perfect!
And other menu look interesting I will try and order next time

Food Propensity
Quick service and nice aesthetic. Food was not the most flavorful or filling. I ordered 3 appetizers but I didn’t find any of them appealing. Seemed like fried fast food items. Wouldn’t recommend.

Casual Thai street eats right off the 405. Came here for an early dinner around 5:30 and got seated immediately. There’s indoor seating (no outdoor available) plus takeout/delivery. Credit cards are accepted. Plenty of parking in the lot. There’s a single occupant bathroom in the back.
Food wise, everything we ordered was yummy and the prices were reasonable. The pad Thai was very moist and the noodles were nice and squishy. The Tom yum soup comes in a small and large option. I really liked their thai iced tea and it overly sweet. The veggie egg rolls come piping hot and is a good vegetarian option (though it’s an appetizer, it’s serving size is enough for a light meal for one). The Zyza fried chicken is smaller in portion size but is super crispy and is a good dish to split in a group of two or three. It came with a sweet chili sauce on the side.
Overall, good spot for a workweek lunch or a casual dinner in a small group.

Haven House
This restaurant was recommended by a friend of mine to try the crab fried rice. The customer service was awful. The woman kept rushing us to order things off the menu when I was our first time. We asked for recommendations she just had a really poor attitude. I ordered the shrimp fried rice I do not recommend it it was really bad. I ordered Thai wings, they were tasteless and tough, the chef should have cooked it longer. I do not recommend going there if want a good Thai experience.

I ordered sticky rice and mango, the mango still had the peel on it , leaving me to having to do it myself when my food was for take out and me to just enjoy it while watching the sunset . Also the drink wasn’t secured and wrapped in a plastic bag then stapled into a paper bag and once I opened it , it was leaking into the plastic bag leaving my cup sticky .

Ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp, pad thai with tofu, and sides of jasmine rice. The tom yum was tasty and not heavily seasoned with msg so I’d recommend it. The flavor on the pad thai isn’t bad, but the noodles were too mushy for my preference. I like how I don’t feel I’m dying of thirst, so I would go back for the tom yum and try something else.

First time here and I took the recommendation of the server to try the steam chicken street special. I used to live in Thailand so I’ve had a lot of Thai food! It’s was unlike any dish I have tried before because their sauces they serve it with are unbelievably fantastic!!!! So much flavor. I will be back.
