BKD is hands down my favorite bagel spot! The food is always fresh, delicious, and made with so much care—you can really taste the quality in every bite. The customer service is just as amazing as the food; the staff is friendly, welcoming, and always goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. To top it off, they’re dog-friendly, which makes it the perfect place to stop by whether I’m grabbing breakfast on the go or hanging out with my pup. We LOVE bkd! Such a wonderful bagel joint plus the owners are just good people! We go here often as a family! They also do a wonderful catering spread. We’ve get it every year for my kiddos birthday – makes a great brunch spread. Kids love it and so do the parents!

Here on vacation and decided to check this place out. Prices are reasonable for the breakfast sandwiches, and it tasted fresh.
Got a french toast bagel with cinnamon cream cheese and could’ve easily cheesed a second bagel with how much they put on it, but it was still good.
Girlfriend said the cold brew was delicious, so kudos across the board.

Absolutely delicious! Takes a lot to for me to say wow about any dinning establishment. The breakfast BLT was so good I’ve been telling everyone about it all day! I’ve never done that about any place I’ve had breakfast at. Highly recommended this place. Like better than five stars!!

This was LICK THE CHEESE OFF THE WRAPPER GOOD! Easily the best bagel sandwich I have ever had! It was warm, fresh and delicious. I had the hangover on a jalapeño cheese bagel and I did not need to eat for the rest of the day. They have plenty of seating, do fairly well keeping the place cool on hot days (my only minor negative), staff was friendly and helpful. 9.9/10 I will be back!

Noting that most reviewers seem to have an excellent experience here, we must have picked an unlucky day or time to visit. The building does have very nice decor, and we felt comfortable and could chat easily up on the upper floor.
The wait was fairly short for our food, about five minutes I think. But the order was missing an item when it first came up. I returned to the pickup counter for a correction and the worker’s attitude was unexpectedly off. She acted as though it was an inconvenience to her that I had paid for but not received my wife’s hash brown. I assumed it was her job to verify orders before calling patrons to the counter, so it seemed strange that she indicated no contrition and offered no apology.
The next issue was with the quality of our food. Everything looked fantastic on the plate, but once we tried to take our first bites we were both surprised at the amount of grease dripping off our bagels. After a couple of bites we were both feeling a bit tired from trying to masticate our way through overly dense, rubbery bagels. In the end neither of us finished our food – we just ran out of endurance trying to chew through it.
I’m a bit sad we caught this place on such a bad day. We had really been looking forward to trying bkd. Now we probably won’t go back.

My family had Easter breakfast. They are dog friendly. The salmon and cream cheese bagel was perfect. A beautiful day in Leesburg Virginia.
