I finally made it to BK JANI in Manhattan and tried their signature Jahni Burger, and it was definitely worth the trip. The burger came on a sesame seed bun with a perfectly charred patty, topped simply with red onions and a flavorful sauce that added a nice tang and creaminess without overwhelming the meat. The patty itself was juicy and well-seasoned, with that smoky, slightly spiced flavor that sets it apart from your standard burger. The fries were another highlight—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and dusted with a seasoning blend that made them addicting. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and while the burger is on the minimalist side in terms of toppings, it lets the patty and seasoning really shine. Overall, this is a great spot for a burger that’s unique and bold without being overcomplicated. Solid 4 stars from me—delicious food with just a couple of small tweaks that could push it into 5-star territory.

I saw them warming up precooked burgers/lamb chops when orders come through. I was in rush so I couldn’t do anything after I ordered. I asked the guy behind the counter if I could get some ketchup and mayo for the $6.24 fries I ordered. Please tell me if this tray for burger/fries should costing $26 plus $4 for ketchup. Ridiculous, I went to BK Jani in Brooklyn multiple times, they treat you way better. This is straight robbery.

Stopped by for lunch today around 1:30 pm to beat the lunch crowd. It was still busy with office workers. Today I had the hamburger lunch special. The backyard hamburger with sweet potato fries. Very good.
Back again on May 23 for another backyard hamburger and sweet potato fries. Again, a great price deal and delicious. Highly recommend.

Expensive, but excellent burger worth the hype. Too a while, but cooked to order medium rare. Solid bun, and mint chutney got a kick, as well formed an isolation layer for the juices. Definitely an indulgent meal to be ordered sparingly.

I genuinely hate writing negative reviews, but my experience at this burger restaurant was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
First, the service was unbelievably slow. We waited nearly 30 minutes just to place our order, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive. When we tried to politely ask about the delay, we were met with short, dismissive responses instead of any real effort to help.
The wait for the food was even worse. It took close to an hour for our burgers to arrive, and when they finally did, they were lukewarm at best. The fries were soggy and tasted like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for far too long. My burger was overcooked, dry, and completely lacking flavor. The bun was stale, and the toppings looked wilted and thrown together without care. For the price we paid, the quality was simply unacceptable.
Overall, the entire experience felt frustrating and poorly managed. Between the long wait time, the lackluster service, and the disappointing food, there was nothing that would make me want to give this place another chance.
Unfortunately, I will never return to this establishment again.

Delicious comfort food. I got the Backyard with sweet potato fries. He got the 808 with masala fries. Both very solid choices! We ate at the counter, and the service was incredibly friendly while we ate! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good burger place.

This was all over on my sooshell after I searched for NYC! I decided to go to the location at the Hugh for lunch. What a treat!
The place is in a very inviting food court, with seating both at the bar and many seating tables in the food court itself. The person taking my order was very friendly. I ordered the Ye Cheese burger in 8oz. It came out quick.
The burger was amazing. Done just right. The spicy tangy sauce added excellent flavor. The bun was soft. Overall a great experience. They seem to have lamb chops too. Something to try next time.
I am happy I stopped by here. Loved the food. The hugh is an excellent place to take a brief reprieve form the city.
Will go again.

This is literally the BEST burger in Midtown, hands down. I love how fresh their meat is and everything was nicely balanced. The buns are crunchy and soft at the same time, the meat is nice and juicy, and the veggies are extremely fresh. Props to the chef and the entire team. Thank you for the amazing meal and can’t wait to come back here soon.
