Restroom was so clean which u don’t get to see in desi restaurants.
The service was incredible and the owner gave us great recommendations. Will certainly be back soon.
• Nihari – 10/10
The star of the menu! It tasted authentic and professional, not from a pre-mix packet. The stew had the perfect thickness, tender beef, balanced spices, and wasn’t overly oily. Truly outstanding.
• Chicken Tikka (Leg) – 10/10
Another must-try. Beautiful color, smoky aroma, soft and juicy inside, with just the right amount of seasoning.
• Bihari Boti – 10/10
Soft, smoky, and perfectly marinated. Succulent texture with bold flavors – exactly what Bihari Boti should be.
• Plain Naan (Khamiri Roti) – 10/10
Served piping hot and fresh, soft and fluffy. An excellent side to pair with any dish.
• Chai – 10/10
A hidden gem here! The chai machine offers masala, cardamom, and ginger flavors, with sugar or sugar-free options. I recommend sugar-free so you can adjust sweetness yourself. The pre-mixed sugared version was a little too sweet.
• Raita – 10/10
Generous portion, creamy, with fresh mint and smooth yogurt flavor. Simple but excellent.
• Red Chutney – 8/10
Tomato-based and quite spicy, not the traditional imli ki chutni. Still a flavorful dip for BBQ and fried items.
• Beef Seekh Kabab – 8/10
Tasty, but the texture was a little dry and hard.
• Puri – 7/10
More like a large puri made from maida rather than atta, instead of a proper paratha.
• Fries – 7/10
Small black specks suggested reused oil, but they were fresh and tasted good.
• Biryani – 6/10
Good portion with potatoes (a nice touch), but only two small chicken pieces – one mostly bone. The rice didn’t taste fresh, more like reheated biryani, and it was spicier than expected.
• Samosas – 5/10
Fried fresh but the filling was underwhelming. This dish could be much better.
• Malai Boti – 4/10
Overpriced for the quantity. A couple of pieces were burnt and inedible, while the rest lacked proper marination or creaminess. Not recommended.
• Halwa – 3/10
Served in a chutney container with a tiny portion. Taste was slightly stale and disappointing.
Overall:
The restaurant recommended Nihari, Chicken Tikka, and Bihari Boti, and I fully agree – they were the highlights. I’d personally also recommend their chai.
Suggestions for Improvement:
• Introduce spice level options (mild, medium, spicy) to suit more customers.
• Improve weaker items like samosas, malai boti, and halwa.
• Add more variety to the menu.
• Seating is limited (6–8 tables), so plan accordingly.
Final Verdict:
Go for the Nihari, Chicken Tikka, and Bihari Boti – they are excellent. Pair them with their hot naan, creamy raita, and finish off with a cup of chai. Some items need work, but the standout dishes make BK Halal BBQ worth visiting
We ended the meal with falooda, which was refreshing and perfectly balanced, and the chai was strong, creamy, and comforting—the perfect finish. Portions were generous, ingredients felt fresh, and the taste truly stood out.
If you’re craving real Pakistani food with authentic flavors, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended—will definitely be coming back!
