Me and my friend came here Monday night the vibe was so calm and relaxing we both got an entree 2 appetizers and we each got a mocktail and shared a dessert our server Mercedes was AMAZING, very nice and attentive, she had a great personality and very positive attitude I had ordered broccoli with my food and it wasn’t steamed how I liked it she immediately took it back and offered another side although I felt bad for sending it back but I got asparagus and it was decent ! hopefully next time we come she’s there so we can have her again as a server

My husband just ordered BJ’s to go. We are not pleased with our experience. He ordered a custom personal deep dish pizza that came out to be $26. This was basically one slice of deep dish pizza. It was so small. Smaller than my hand. For $26. You need to include a description about the size of the pizza, or charge less for toppings on such a small pie. I ordered a Caesar salad and half of the lettuce was oxidized and some of the pieces were brown and bad. We also ordered 2 ginger beers specifically because of what the description was, I was excited to try it. “ginger beer soda sweetened with pure cane sugar and free of artificial flavors.” “ BJ’s continues the tradition of this non-alcoholic beverage, sweetening it with pure cane sugar and nary an artificial flavor to be found.” So it was pretty disappointing when I tried it and it doesn’t even taste like ginger. Ingredients: natural ginger ale flavor (caramel color, gum acacia, natural flavor) and then it has maltodextrin, sodium benzoate and calcium chloride in it. “Natural flavors” is pretty misleading and you’re getting off on sneaky technicalities. I’m pregnant and ginger beer has been one of the only things I can drink with a meal to keep me from getting sick. So now I’m disappointed and I don’t feel good. Do better please.

First time here and for the most part, it was not bad. Went before lunch on a weekday, wasn’t too busy, but there were a few patrons seated. My main complaint is their service. It felt exceptionally slow even though it wasn’t too busy as mentioned. Waitress wasn’t as attentive as I would’ve liked as she would only check on the table once in a while. Drinks took a really long time to arrive for some reason but at least the food came in a timely manner. Luckily they were enjoyable despite the service. I will add that the waitress was kind and very helpful when she did decide to check on the table. I would go again. Also, the Pizookie was very delicious. Nice treat to share with a significant other.

I have to drive a ways, for this location, but every mile is more than worth it, to have Sal as a waiter. If he isn’t on-shift, I turn right back around. Food just tastes better, when he brings it to the table. His smile makes the room just a little bit brighter. His voice flutters in as if carried on the wings of angels and wraps me like a warm blanket. I never knew what love was, until I heard him describe his family, while setting down my 5th pizookie of the evening. I’d vote Sal for President. I’d ask him to be best man at my wedding. I want to be like him when I grow up, but I know I never will. When he finally decides to hang up his non-slip shoes, we will never again see his like as a waiter. I consider it a lifelong privilege to have met him.

So, we are a group of 12 celebrating a friends bday. We were next door at Longhorn, and unfortunately waited 25 min, even after our bday girl had confirmed(in person) the day before that we could be accommodated at noon.
The hostess there was rude and didn’t even try to help us.

Well we chose to come over here to BJs, and Abigail, the hostess, was very sweet and said sure we can seat you now! No wait, no hassle and no eye rolls!! Thank you Abigail for your great attitude!

Then we get to our server…Sal!
He is the BEST!!! So sweet, kind, accommodating and polite!!!
He had no problem taking care of us and was all smiles the whole time!!!

Thank you BJs for a great atmosphere , great food, great service AND A GREAT STAFF!!!

First experience at BJ’s,great service(thank you again to our waitress which I forgot the name☹️,she was nice to offer my little boy a small bag of goldfish and slices of strawberries and pineapple because his order took long and he was very hungry,I thought that was really nice. I wish I could remember her name),good food(homemade guacamole ),good cocktails, but too loud. If you don’t like loud places BJ’s is not for you.

Located in Live Oak. This location offers lots of parking with several handicapped spaces right up front. We were greated quickly and sat at the bar while we waited for our table. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was full. Food was delicious and came out hot!

Sal is truly a beautiful human being, both inside and out, and the level of care they brought to our table was exceptional from the moment we sat down. Our food was brought out in a timely manner, perfectly paced, and our drinks were never empty—not once. Sal anticipated every need before we even had the chance to ask, which made the entire experience feel effortless and genuinely welcoming.
What really stood out was how attentive and present Sal was without ever being intrusive. Every check-in felt thoughtful, and their recommendations were spot-on. You could tell they knew the menu inside and out and actually cared about making sure we had the best possible experience. Because of that, we ended up ordering things we might not have otherwise—and we’re so glad we did.
It’s rare to come across a server who balances professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness so naturally, but Sal absolutely does. They elevated our entire meal and turned it into a memorable experience rather than just another night out. Service like this is the reason people come back, and Sal is a huge asset to this restaurant. I cannot recommend him enough.

I came in with my husband for our anniversary and our server Eddie was awesome and made our dinner that much better. He was attentive and I didn’t have to ask for drink refills or other small things.. He also had a good attitude which I also really appreciated and it made our night better. The food was great and we will definitely be back!
