Whether you need a meal after that late class or a beer before last call, you’ll be glad to know BJ’s Restaurant in Plano is always open late. We’re open until midnight all week long and 1:00 am on Saturdays for all of the region’s night owls. Ask about our delivery service! I have always enjoyed BJ’s in the past, however, this visit got off to a bumpy start. But they made a decent comeback.
When our food came we did not have any napkins or utensils. And we waited several minutes but no one came around. So I had to go back to the kitchen to get them. My wife’s fries arrived cold and I was missing my side salad.
But when the waiter finally came around to ask if everything was okay and was told what was lacking, he got right on it. Soon my wife had a nice hot bowl of fries and I had my salad.
We tried the new butterfinger pizookie, and I found it disappointing. But then I’m not that big of a fan of chocolate (the cookie was basically a brownie). Next time I’ll stick with my personal favorite: white chocolate macadamia nut pizookie.

The host was really obnoxious. She seated us then proceeded to slam stacks of menus and silverware on the table behind us which for some reason kept shaking our table. Our server was nice but I think he had too many tables since he kept forgetting about us. I’d go again, just not to this location.
We had adichoke and spinach dip 10⭐. The shrimp scampi was super good but a tad too oily. 8.5/10 ⭐
All in all, we loved the food, just could’ve done without the host.

Jonathan at BJ’s Brewhouse in Plano is the kind of server who makes you forget you came in “just for dinner” and leave feeling like you accidentally attended a really fun, perfectly hosted event.
From the moment he stopped by, he was witty without trying too hard (a rare talent), genuinely customer-centric, and somehow made our table feel instantly comfortable—like we were regulars he’d been taking care of for years. His food suggestions were spot-on, and he had that magical ability to read the vibe and recommend exactly what we’d enjoy (not just what was easiest to upsell).
And then… the Pepsi float. Yes, a Pepsi float. Jonathan turned a simple craving into a mini celebration. It was one of those “how is this so simple yet so perfect?” moments—and it absolutely made the night.
Honestly, Jon is full of wit and brought a dull dinner back to life. He made the whole experience vibrant, warm, and memorable in the best way. We’ll be back at BJ’s—and not just for the food—we’ll be back to see Jonathan

Jeff Finding Your Dreamcar
Saw the pizza showcased on a pop-up reel on Instagram. It looked good so I gave it a try. Ray was great; knowledgeable, upbeat, and though I had questions about the menu items, he didn’t make me feel rushed as he answered. As far as the pizzas, I got a small pan, a thin crust Tavern Cut (squares), and a smash burger. All 3 didn’t disappoint. Pizza (5-meat) was served good and hot, nice cheese pull but not too much, hearty sweet crust. I strongly recommend their hot honey to pour over the pizza, not too hot but packed with flavor. The burger was evenly cooked, and the onions weren’t too overpowering. They subbed mashed potatoes instead of fries, also good. If y’all are local looking for a place or y’all are from out of town looking for someplace safe (variety of items for all your guests), check out their menu and give them a try!

Jonathan was a FANTASTIC server! He made our family of 6 feel so welcomed! He met all of our needs, and went above and beyond to make our night mystical and magical! I hope everyone gets to experience an amazing server like him. It will genuinely change your outlook on life and the service industry. God bless this man. Scarlett was our server tonight and she did a great job! She was a blast to talk to and always made sure we had refills. Food was great, especially my smokehouse bbq burger. Everything was outstanding, except for the Bears getting robbed by the Rams (but that probably isn’t the restaurant’s fault ).

Our recent visit to BJ’s Restaurant was fantastic, especially thanks to our enthusiastic server, Johnathan. He warmly welcomed us, recommended delicious dishes, and made sure everything was perfect. The food was amazing—flavorful and beautifully presented. Johnathan’s exceptional service made this dining experience truly special. This location used to be one of my favorites. My recent experience today was not up to the usual standards of BJ’s Brewhouse locations. Unfortunately our server was very inattentive, he was overall nice and did everything as asked just was a rarity during our visit. We did have to get our own straws and flag him down eventually for our check. Usually we are highly understanding but they were not busy at all. We didn’t even receive our pizookie that was supposed to come with one of our meals as a special… but at that point we had been there so long we didn’t even bother asking about it. The tea we had was horribly bitter, I could not even finish drinking it and ended up asking for a water. The pizza is on special on Monday which was great, the sauce was a little sweet but overall we enjoyed that as well as the salads. My toddler did find a tack behind our seats on a ledge which was a little concerning. There was also a staff member who was using the stall with the changing table and after 10 minutes of waiting I ended up taking my son to change him at our car. I only know it was a staff member as she walked out a few minutes later. The restroom was not clean and there is another stall blocked off (probably out of service). Overall a somewhat drab location that could seemingly use a deep clean. If the visible areas of the restaurant are not top notch I can only imagine what the areas guests can’t see are like.

Was went into bjs this afternoon expecting good service, what we received was BEYOND our expectations. Johnathan is a beacon of light shining down on us all. He was so kind and energetic, and it immediately lighted up all of our moods. Thank you for the amazing service Johnathan!
