They are not busy when we go, so please spare me the excuse of they may be busy. The guests we had with us had never been and pointed out how empty it was for the food taking so long.
They need more staff. That’s the first way to improve this place.
Second, the management here is so bad. Zero attention to detail, lack of training and never an apology for how bad service is when they know it. Our server said she spoke with the manager and would try to do something. Lies. But even if she did we never saw a manager.
We arrived at 1pm today. Party of 5. Had to wait 15 mins for a table with half the tables EMPTY.
This place is a joke. Give me 1 month, it would be 100% better, which I admit isn’t saying much when the bar is set so low. I wouldnt need a salary. I’d sign any waiver saying I won’t need anything in return. Why would I do it? Because I remember when this place was great. It’s a shame so many like it are horrible now.
We ordered water like 4 times …water…. She forgot water…
Had to flag down a different server for ketchup. Which I assume is under lock and key since it took a while and after asking the girl said “let me see if I can find some”. Aka, this place is a bad weekend away from shutting their doors.
Don’t get me started on the floors and tables. It’s disgusting. Health dept should visit.
I attached a pic of my mahi tacos. They cut back so much on the fish, I had to dig thru the 2″ layer of slaw to find the dried out fish.
The mozz sticks were barely melted.
You win BJs. You’ve convinced me with your current staff and management, that I need to avoid this place at all costs.
I haven’t ordered take out in a while so I can’t comment on recent take out experiences. Hopefully it has improved. We mostly dine in now and whenever we have dined in, almost zero problems. Food is always good dining in and I feel you get a good amount. Yes, prices have hiked up, but it’s like that everywhere.
I chose clam chowder and it was delicious. The server was also very friendly.
The only downside was that I visited on a chilly day, and the inside of the restaurant was cold because the air conditioner was on.
We have had several servers there and they all are professional. Servers Damian and John are class acts and make dining fun again.
We also sit at the bar with Dane who delivers exceptional service and drinks.
All the servers work together to deliver Gold Standard service. Managers Mike & Haley always make it a point to stop and say hello and the whole staff makes you feel welcome!
