I used to go here in high school and loved it. My how times have changed. I was stoked to go back, but left disappointed. The pizzas, while loaded with toppings, fell flat taste wise. Personal preference, I know. The building and bar haven’t changed, and that’s a good thing. I love stepping back in time. Super cool inside. Here’s my biggest complaint: I was charged for a $10 cheeseburger that I didn’t order. TBH, I didn’t even notice as I’m a dude and never look at receipts. It wasn’t until a couple of days later, my wife was looking and jokingly asked if i ate a cheeseburger while waiting on the pizzas. If you’re getting a carry out, PLEASE check your receipt. This will prevent me from ever going back.

Fantastic St. Louis style pizza in an old school bar. There’s no thin crust pizza in STL with more generous toppings. The crust is flaky with a biscuit-like taste – maybe they use baking powder in their dough. Sauce is more subtle than a lot of places, but good. Nice people and great pizza.

This place is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere. Excellent food. If you’re looking for a good burger or something sweet, head to BJ’s. Very welcoming. Great music. I will be going back.

For most of my life I had known of Bjs pizza being a local of north county.
A few years ago I visited this place thanks to a friend of mine named Lisa Jewel as she is a bartender there.
As time progressed I was honored to meet one of the founders Delphy and her daughter Jeanie as they were celebrating Delphy her birthday there. Since then I have been a regular there.
Bjs is truly a landmark of Old town Florissant history and I hope that it remains as such for years to come for what this family did and what they stand for in the community truly is something beautiful.
I send my regards to the family and I encourage anyone to try this place and support a small business.

Long time locally establishment. I have heard a lot about BJ’s Bar pizza. Small classic dive bar feel inside. However, the staff were very friendly and inviting. I ordered a small pepperoni pizza. Hand made in house. Very good, took leftovers home to the wife and she approved as well.
