We hosted a birthday party at BJ Ryan’s on Main Street and had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious, everyone was raving about it. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything ran smoothly. A huge thank you to Marissa as well for being so organized and accommodating. She made the whole planning process effortless. Highly recommend BJ Ryan’s for both dining and special events!

Had an event upstairs and it was fantastic. 30 people and everyone thought it was great. Food was amazing! Marissa was easy to work with answered all of my questions and made the process simple. I will definitely do another event here.

Was in the neighborhood and was walking by and it smelled so good from the outside, we all decided to stop in for some lunch. This was exactly what we were looking for, a cozy feeling tavern with exposed brick and framed pictures lining the walls in this corner establishment. We were greeted and seated right away before it got busy. Our server was very nice and friendly. I had ordered the French Onion Soup (amazing flavor), the Buffalo Wings (fresh wings not frozen) and the Philly Cheesesteak and everything was delicious. Great spot!

Not impressed with the food or service. The server forgot to put our drinks in so we didn’t receive them until after our apps. The cheeseburger Eggroll’s dough was not flavorful and the wonton not cooked thoroughly. My French dip sandwich was soggy and lukewarm.

My baby shower was at BJ Ryan’s in the private room upstairs and it was perfect! Marissa was great to work with and the shower ran smoothly. She made sure we had plenty of food and got our preferences for how we wanted to set up the room with tablecloth colors etc. We did the appetizers option for the food, which was so fun and everything we chose was delicious. I especially loved the crab and corn fritters and the pulled pork/grit cakes. Definitely would recommend for an event!

What a wonderful establishment! From the outside you are greeted by the old world Norwalk charm and continues on into the interior design. Wood trim, early twentieth century looking bar with modern touches, and a funky old floorplan that only exists in old cities.
We were greeted by a server who was incredibly friendly and had the overwhelming task of working the bar and waiting tables at lunch time. She handled it with ease and charm.
I ordered the BBQ rack of ribs which were absolutely amazing and gigantic! They came with a side of coleslaw, great, and shoestring fries, average fries. I would grab a rib and it would just slide out of the meat, now that’s what I call tender. The ends were nice a crispy but moist inside. The BBQ sauce was unique and full of flavor.
My mother had the Cobb salad which was one of the best I have seen in years.
For dessert my mother had a cappuccino which she said was the best she ever had. We shared the ricotta cheesecake, if you are a true cheesecake aficionado you know ricotta makes the best cheesecake. This did not disappoint. It’s probably been 15 years since I had one as good.

Just a lil bit more seasoning & its waitress was & my tip was friend had the baby back ribs which look so delicious & I had the wings. Ribs were perfect chicken ♂️ but I would definitely go back!!!
