Elevated Mexican and street food done right. A lot of restaurants nowadays will throw on a myriad of trendy ingredients in an attempt to make something unique and modern. But more often than not the end resulting is lackluster and the ingredients distracting. Not Bizzaro & Son! Every ingredient is thought out and intentional. The end result is a well crafted blend of textures and flavors unique to Bizzaro. Not only is the presentation on point but Bizzaro nails the basics. My chicken sandwich was perfectly fried, sweet and spicy without dripping sauce down my fingers. The tacos were flavorful and the tortillas fresh. Will definitely be back.

This place is awesome! The food here is a work of art! Looks so good I don’t even want to dig into it but it tastes just as good as it looks! The use of smoke and pickled stuff is next level. Highly recommend you give this a try.

Located inside the Rock Island Public House, you can find this gem serving more or less upscale Mexican. The menu changes but I haven’t been disappointed. As a vegetarian, I had my first experience with Jackfruit and oh my goodness, it was amazing. The cheese tamales are homemade and absolutely delicious. I even enjoyed the garlic fries! I can tell the food is made with love.
And a little cherry on top was that the staff heard my friend was there for her birthday and they brought out a delicious little dessert on the house. Keep in mind they are not there every day, but worth the wait!

Nestled inside of the Rock Island Pub is this gem of a food stop. I cannot express the level of flavors that are in each of their dishes. My absolute favorite and go-to dish is the Cuban. I have tried many dishes and have not been disappointed.

I ordered the bison burger and it was delicious! First time and I was impressed. Not a big burger fan. But, the combination of guacamole, pickled red onions and jalapeños complimented the bison!!

What an amazing hidden gem. Stopped in to have a beer and see some friends and ended up making more started off with the chips and salsa which was absolutely incredible. Move onto bizarro’s. Take on the Cuban and I had to order another to go. The fiancé got the burrito that I had to try. Closed out the night with dessert which was incredible and a great treat to end the night. Will definitely be back.
