A++. We were not disappointed! My sister had an 8 hour layover at the airport so we decided to drive the 3 hours to Philly to meet her and get some breakfast. There was a bit of a wait (25-35 min) so we decided to take the first available table which happened to be outside (in the sprinkling rain). The umbrellas helped a bit, but when the wind blew we got a dash of water on us.
Regardless, it made for a fun family experience with some excellent food! 2 of us got their Southern Pileup (sausage gravy over biscuits). My wife got their Pumpkin Pecan Pancakes, and my daughter got their steak and eggs. We also got some sides of bacon and sausage. The sausage patties were probably the most delicious that I have had in a while. The service was friendly and excellent. The next time we come back to the Philly area, we are stopping again.

The food was very good. The avocado toast was good except the avocado mash could’ve had a little less lemon or lime juice added to their mix. Despite that, it’s better than many other places I’ve had avocado toast. 🙂 The portions were big too so that was nice.
In regard to the entire place, the atmosphere is warm and comforting with dark walls and nice bar seating at the window with the sun shining in. Overall I enjoyed my experience here.
Oh and the hot chocolate is delicious! So remember to try it while you’re there.

A great, and quite popular, breakfast spot, serving a variety of dressed-up classic options. Bittersweet Kitchen brews some great coffee, and I also quite enjoyed the Steak and Eggs (though the Medium Rare could have been a bit more rare).
I recommend getting there early, to avoid having a long wait.

I came with my family on a quiet snow day and had a delicious breakfast. The omelette and potatoes were soooo good. I liked having the biscuit as a treat. Our kids loved the pancakes. The scones are yummy too! There is a small shelf with some toys for kids I really appreciated. The staff are so kind. 10/10

Bittersweet seriously has the best food- the bittersweet breakfast is a great deal and they have the best potatoes. Also tried their pizza recently and it was insanely good. Will definitely be returning for more!

I usually love this place but I ordered pizza here for the first time. I would say absolutely do not get the plain pizza. It was not flavorful. Unfortunately disappointed with this deep dish recipe.

The environment inside is a bit small for me, but it works if you don’t mind being in close proximity to others in one big open dining space. Outside seating is available at the corner of a busy sidewalk. I ordered the Scratch Biscuit Sandwich. It may be my palate, but the eggs were just ok. The biscuit was lightly sweetened, bacon was crispy. The service was exceptional.

We adore this place. They don’t take reservations which does mean there can be a wait, but it is absolutely worth it for the high quality, well crafted food and very friendly service. You can tell that everything here is done with love ❤️

As much as I’d love to say something positive about this place, I have to be honest. My experience was terrible! I arrived around 1:20 p.m. and, since they close at 2 p.m., I asked if they were still accepting customers. They said yes, so I went ahead and placed my order. I waited about 15 minutes for my food, and when it finally arrived, it was a complete mess. My biscuit and potatoes were cold, like they had just been taken out of the fridge. My (well done) turkey bacon was cooked on one side, and my eggs weren’t cooked to my liking. I wasted my time due to poor customer service and lack of communication this is completely unacceptable.

I’ve been coming to media a couple times a year for business And I usually get the terrible hotel breakfast. But this morning, I decided to go out and actually find something good. I ordered something called the Southern pileup and it was absolutely delicious. Had me scraping my plate at the end.
