I definitely give this place 5 stars!! This is literally the best donut shop in Monticello, Ky!! If you haven’t experienced for yourself then you are definitely missing out!! Not only are the donuts amazing, but the staff are even more amazing!! Definitely worth a visit and to just hang out with family and friends as the have different kinds of games to play as you enjoy the amazing food and drinks!! Not a coffee drinker but best believe they have the best hot chocolate and the white hot chocolate you’ll ever have!!

Today was my first time trying Bitter Sweet Coffee (I wanted to try it before I moved to Florida). I had the Pizza Sub and a Arnold Palmer drink. Pizza Sub was savory and delicious. The shop has plenty of seating areas from tables, booths to side seating. The overhead hexagon light fixture did mess with my eyes when I was trying to view the electronic menu behind the counter. Extremely nice staff, and even handed me the info for their caffeine ingredients.

We’re working out of town as usual. Found this little spot and had to try their ice cream!. It was great! Service was great! They actually do family movie nights there and are hosting the super bowl tomorrow night! They also had Christian music playing which was rather nice!

Cutest coffee shop in Monticello! The doughnuts are AMAZING! And you can watch them being made FRESH right in front of you! The coffee is just as good, my personal favorite being a maple latte! You can really tell that the staff and the owners take pride in the quality and consistency of the products that they offer!
They also offer board games and activities around the shop that make it a perfect stop for all ages! I cannot recommend Bittersweet Coffee enough!!

Great addition to our local business community. Lots of drinks options for everyone including sugar free. Donuts are made fresh to order. Friendly service. Oh and they even have Mayfield Ice Cream. Sure you think donuts.. breakfast but trust me theyre so good any time of day. Great for the family or to coffee clutch with your friends

Great donuts and coffee but the smell of donuts frying is bad the second you step in and your eyes will burn if you sit in because of it. Our eyes were all watering and burning and all our local friends warned us. A change in something to fix that would greatly help the inside experience.

This was the absolute worst coffee ☕️ I’ve ever had. I could have made coffee at home that tasted 100% better. Charged me almost $18 dollars. The donuts had a good taste, but they were tiny. I will never go back.
