Well I am giving three stars because it’s both great for food and coffee taste but very unbearable if you get cold easily. But to start with good .. it is shocking to find such an upscale coffee and cafe diner food in such a small rural Texas town and it is welcome . I have had a rueben sandwich and a avocado toast with sausage and both were quite good . I had one basic coffee with oat milk and it is very smooth and exceptionally smooth flavor .
The drat side of experienced dining here are that the first visit resulted in waiting almost an hour with only a few visible customers ..for two sandwiches . They came out kind of cold and as if they’d been rushed with barely toasted bread .
But yes the cold air blowing on tables is my main complaint . This is not normal AC on a mildly hot day ..this is ac blowing on tables with it being 47 outside and ice warnings hours before . This is cold air blowing down at dusk when it’s around 60 in the sun ..and men were too cold to sit there .
That needs fixing if you ask me ..but the lovely decorations and music inside is real nice .
Lastly .as an afterthought .. the food menus need to be easily seen and not something you have to wait and ask for . The coffee and pastry menu is all anyone can see until you get a staff member to hand you menu .
That’s all I can offer as constructive criticism and hope they do well.

Every time I come the customer service is incomparable and the food is always good. They have an adorable cozy sitting area inside and out, support local businesses with little crafts and gifts for sale in the sitting area… and they have a huge great variety of drinks . Super great place I come here mainly for the service but the food being good is a great cherry on top of course . Good service isn’t easy to find.
Edit since I can’t add another review, this place is great. Their food is delicious, and there’s not one staff member I’ve met who didn’t ooze with kindness and hospitality. They gave my lil dogs whipped cream too which made all of our day.

Fantastic little place! Dropped in with a group of 11, and they handled it smoothly, and the food was great! We had the chicken salad, the loaded avocado, grilled chicken sandwich, nuggets, quesadilla, and grilled cheese w tomato soup, and not a complaint in the group! Chicken was hot and fresh, all the portions sized and prices were reasonable. All in all, if I’m in the area again, I WILLLLL be coming back.

Place feels so welcoming. Very friendly. Breakfast, coffee and pastries are delicious. As for my coffee I had a bnb and ask for it not to be to sweet and they were very helpful with my choice.

So cute inside and out! The grilled chicken salad I had was fresh, and my lunch date liked their buffalo chicken sandwich. The serving sizes were decent. The cupcakes are massive, and the normal-sized cupcakes are called “kid’s cupcakes” which made me laugh.
