They are back! Same delicious food and friendly service but in a new location – just down the road, opposite the Shell service station/Hungry Jacks.
Menu has all the usual favourites. We enjoyed the veggie laksa, prawn chilli jam stir fry, Beef Rad Na, fish cakes and spring onion omelette. Also had a Thai Milk Tea and some ginger beer with yuzu mocktails. All delicious. We’ve never had a bad meal here. Consistently great food with friendly service at very reasonable prices. Online ordering for takeaway and Uber eats will be enabled when they have settled in. A regular favourite of ours on high rotation. Highly recommended.

Their cuisine is delicious! We came here because there are always huge crowds whenever we pass by! I ordered chicken curry and it was medium spicy. Recommended for someone who likes spicy food!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Bite Me Restaurant this evening, and it was an overall delightful experience. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a relaxed dinner.

We started with the Crispy Pork Belly, which, while flavorful, wasn’t as crispy as expected. However, the Tom Yum Seafood Soup was exceptional – a perfect blend of tangy and savory flavors. We both agreed that a touch more spice would elevate it even further.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Signature Chicken Curry, which paired beautifully with steamed rice. It was rich, aromatic, and absolutely delicious. The Thai Chilli Basil Tofu was another solid dish, with a good balance of spice and flavor.

For anyone seeking authentic Thai cuisine in Hobart, this is the place to go. I highly recommend making reservations, as the restaurant was fully booked during our visit. A testament to its popularity and the quality of its food!

Looking forward to our next visit!

Very nice restaurant and food! I had dinner with my parents there yesterday and we loved every dish we ordered.

All their staff were very friendly particularly the Asian female staff who went out of her way to assist my parents.

The restaurant was clean and pleasantly quiet. Really enjoyed our meal and experience.

Wasn’t sure of what to expect here but I was so glad to have tried them. Probably some of the best south east asian I’ve eaten in a long time.

The place was very busy so if you’re going during dinner time then it would be wise to book ahead. Great atmosphere with all the hustle and bustle and the smell if different dishes was divine.

I started off with the vegetable spring rolls (3pcs) which were great on their own but even better with the dipping sauce provided. Shared a plate of pineapple cashew fried rice (veg option) and had the Thai style cashew (chicken option) as my main. To wash it all down I decided to try their non-alcoholic green apple lemon plum juice. All the food was fantastic and so flavourful that I felt like second helpings….even though I was quite and thoroughly full. The drink was also delicious and all this came to about $44 which was well worth it considering the amount you get and the high quality of food.

Although the staff seemed to be rushed off their feet they were still very courteous and friendly. The place looked and felt very clean and has a certain vibe about it. Is definitely on my short list for another visit.

So happy to find this little restaurant in North Hobart. On a chilly autumn evening a group of us headed to Bite Me for a meal. It was a fairly busy night with several tables already seated. The service was a little slow as they were busy but the staff were very friendly. After ordering our meals, the food arrived hot and fresh. What a delicious meal it turned out to be. Having travelled through Asia extensively & enjoying great food, I was delighted with the Signature Chicken Curry. A serving of jasmine rice & a small spring onion pancake complimented my main meal. Other dishes ordered by the group included a stir fry chicken & cashews, Thai Green Curry, Thai fish cakes, & a seafood stir fry in a satay sauce. Delicious
Will definitely be visiting again.

There were many gluten free choices so that’s why I came here. It’s westernized Asian cuisine, so if you come here, don’t expect an authentic taste – lots of sweet and sour sauces etc. The massaman curry was delicious, and the deep fried dim sum also, but the char kwai teow and vegetable spring rolls could’ve had more flavour.

If I could give 10 stars for food, I would! Really excellent food that came piping hot and in no time. We were a large group of friends coming straight from Mt Wellington hiking so were super hungry qnd quite late. However we were very well looked after and extremely accommodating.
