Bite Into Maine is an absolute culinary treasure and easily deserves every one of these five stars! If you are anywhere near Portland, this food truck is a mandatory stop for the freshest, most delicious Maine seafood.
We tried a few items and were completely blown away by everything:
• The Clam Chowder was rich, creamy, and packed with clams—truly some of the best chowder we’ve ever had.
• The classic Maine Lobster Roll (cold with mayo) was phenomenal, showcasing huge, sweet chunks of perfectly cooked lobster.
• The Picnic Lobster Roll (tossed with a touch of butter and fresh chives) was a game-changer! It was simple, elegant, and let the incredible quality of the lobster shine.
Everything was absolutely amazing. From the first spoonful of chowder to the last bite of the roll, this was a five-star Maine experience!

I got the Maine Lobster Roll here for the first time and it was so fresh and delicious! This was the smaller of the two size options they have and was priced at $32. I personally think social media got me over hyped about lobster rolls in Maine and that lobster rolls can be a bit overrated considering there are so many ways to enjoy lobster, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy this one lobster roll. I likely wouldn’t get this again just because I prefer other ways to enjoy lobster, but I definitely recommend this for all lobster roll lovers or for first timers to try at least once! Also was just such a lovely spot to enjoy eating outside in the nice weather!

Although pricy the way these roll taste, you realize that it is worth every red cent. The customer service is great. They realized that they slightly got my order wrong and they told me that they will fix it. They could of tried to pass that off to me but they kept their integrity which I greatly appreciate. I want to visit again and enjoy the outdoor space more. There are trails and a lighthouse near by but I strictly came for the lobster rolls. Will return.

Cool experience for us to get lobster roll from a food truck at Head Light. Then to see that they are so popular and highly rated was a perk. The lobster roll and blueberry soda were both delicious. Service was pretty quick for a crowd, too.

Oh my goodness we happened to come across the food truck while visiting the oldest lighthouse in Maine at Fort Williams. I had my first lobster roll since getting into Maine at Becky’s. We had it with mayo and added some drawn butter and it was good. All I can say is the lobster roll here in my opinion was so much better! The Lobster was so sweet and the bread really made it! The setting is beautiful at the park. It was awesome to have a delicious Lobster roll and then to go explore some more

The lobster rolls were okay, but they would have been better if the lobster meat had been warm. Eating them felt like eating leftover meat salad right out of the refrigerator.
Anyway, The park is located at Fort William and is a very beautiful public park. Admission to the park is free but you have to pay for parking.

We tried three different places for lobster rolls while in the portland area, and this was by far our favorite.
We tried High Roller and thought the lobster was rubbery and honestly didnt enjoy that place much. We also tried Eventide, enjoyed it, but most likely wouldn’t go back for it.
Bite Into Maine we would return for. We got Maine style. The bread was toasted with butter, the lobster was succulent. The cold lobster and mayo, fresh chives and lemon were all quite refreshing after walking around the park. The Maine sodas were great. I loved the root beer.
The service was fast and friendly, but we were lucky and were there on a weekday when there was not a long line.

We stopped by after seeing the lighthouse and got the XL CT roll and the XL Yellow Curry Roll. Service was very fast and friendly, and there’s three long picnic tables outside to sit. The meat was super fresh and tender in both rolls and the bread was toasted perfectly! My favorite of the two would have to be the yellow curry roll which was not spicy at all, just an extra layer of flavor that compliments the lobster so well! Will be back to try the other flavors!

When we were at Fort Williams Park to see the lighthouse, they were in a food truck. We had learned about them from the Netflix series “Somebody Feed Phil,” so we decided to give them a try. It was a very delicious lobster roll, and they do have gluten-free buns available.

My wife had the small lobster roll and I had the pulled pork sandwich. Both were excellent! I also tried the Maine Blueberry Soda, it was good flavor, if a bit different than I’m used to! I recommend sitting at the picnic tables across the road to eat so you can enjoy views of the bay.
