Bit of Swiss is a must go to destination if you are a fan of tasty pastries, desserts, and bread. My only complaint is that my house is NOT next door!
Our kids beg to stop when we are in the area. In fact, we visited twice in one day! These are the many items we have had:
– Tiramusi
– Lemon Bar
– Lemon Tart
– Mini mousse cups
– Cannoli
– Brownie cheesecake bars (?)
– Chocolate raspberry tart
– All varieties of cupcakes
– Cheese bread
– S’more bar (pictured)
– Christmas cookie variety (pictured)

As a CCO (Chief Coffeecake Officer) I know a star when I seen one. This place is amazing. Everything is amazing. But the coffee cakes are out of this world!

Love this place! I bought my wedding cake from here in 2022 which was beautiful and well priced. We visit every year for our anniversary and always grab cupcakes, freshly baked bread and coffee. Made a special trip recently for Valentine’s Day ❤️❤️❤️

Wonderfully delicious yesterday, today and hopefully tomorrow.
International award winning recipes on the edge of a food dessert.
I have patronized this bakery for a number of years. QUALITY a one word description.Artistic designs sinfully appealing.
Tasty anticipation awaits until disaster strikes when four dreaded words strike
“WE ARE SOLD OUT” minus one star…..
P.S. get there early

Our daughter found this place on TikTok and so we decided to drive up and give them a try. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We got several things to try. Lemon tart, macaroons, chocolate chip cake, brownie, creme Brule, Almond croissant. Would definitely be back. Be aware though we did not see public bathrooms.

I can’t say enough good things about Bit Of Swiss. It’s a charming little bakery with all kinds of delicious goodies. I went here today because I had a hankering for their bakery treats. It’s worth the drive for me. The staff is so kind and patient. They’ve never been rude or unkind to me whenever I’ve gone in here. I feel like my absolute favorite time was when they made these delicious peanut butter chocolate croissants for Ukraine. And then they donated the money to help the Ukraine, too. I stopped in today for the limoncello bundt cake. Usually, bundts are dry in my past experiences. Not this bundt. No way. It was soft and airy. Just nothing short of amazing! I like big bundts (in this case, little bundts) and I cannot lie. Bit Of Swiss is where it’s at. Do yourself a favor and check them out. They’re amazing. And it smells amazing heading into the bakery too. You won’t regret it.

Bit of Swiss is near and dear to my heart.
As a child, my Grandma used to get my birthday cakes from here almost every birthday.
I had the opportunity to bring my Grandson here and not only get the vanilla barvarian cake but a few other sweet treats.
I try and visit here whenever I can ❤️

We stopped by this bakery on a whim leaving St Joe’s and heading back to Chicago. I cant believe we almost missed it. They had a large selection of items, in the cutest neighborhood – I wish we could move there lol. Staff was friendly, we got a few things for family as well – croissants, tarts, cakes,.muffins, scones all sorts! It’s worth a stop. Add it to your list!

What a treasure to have this bakery in the community for so many years. The continued high standard of their craft is amazing. We recently went, as my wife came back to the house where she grew up, just down the hill, and it was just as good for me the first time as it was for her after spending half her childhood and allowance coming here after school. Amazing staff and team and so welcoming for us to come back here.
