Bistrot Valois was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, you truly feel at home. The family-owned atmosphere—with the mother, daughter, and father all owning and working there—adds such a warm, genuine touch that you don’t find often.

The attention to detail is incredible: the cozy fur-covered chairs, the beautiful flowers, and the thoughtful decorations throughout the space create such an inviting and intimate setting. It’s warm, charming, and full of character.

The food was unbelievably fresh, and the flavors were completely out of this world. We enjoyed our experience so much that we had to come back a second time before we left—that alone says everything. Having our hotel directly across the street made it an easy go-to, but even if it wasn’t, this place would be worth the walk every single time.

Thank you again for such an amazing experience. We truly can’t wait to come back and enjoy another incredible meal. Highly, highly recommended!

– service is fine. Unless one waitress who ignores me when I asked something. The others are friendly.
– ambiance is top.
– foods…need to be improved. My hamburger is wet water wet so I don’t show the photo here.
– prices are reasonable for Paris.

I recently dined at Bistrot Valois, where I enjoyed a lovely meal consisting of Autour du Saumon and Canon d’Aonglet de Bœuf. The food itself was very good—fresh but the salmon dish was slightly bland. The beef was tender and cooked just right, making for an enjoyable experience.

While the quality of the food was satisfying, I found the portions to be somewhat underwhelming for the price. For example, the Autour du Saumon at €27.80 felt a bit steep given the quantity served. The drinks, including Bourgueil wine and the Champagne Gourmand, complemented the meal well.

However, the service was excellent. The staff were attentive and professional, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. In summary, while the food and service were both commendable.

It looks very pretty and seems hidden away from the main streets but it does get busy over lunch hours. Very close to the Louvre and other attractions for quick stop for lunch, but the service was not so tourist friendly. Maybe we didn’t ordered good items from the menu but the two dishes we got were not that great, similar to other’s experiences shared here.

What a fantastic bistrot! We discovered it on a very chilly day walking randomly. It was so warm and cozy with sheepskins on the chairs, perfect cappuccino, and a delicious plate of French cheese! Our waiter, Fred, made it all the more enjoyable by giving us a few tips on proper use of the word garçon in Paris.

A gorgeous spot to stop for an afternoon coffee and cake. Sat outside in the super-inviting comfy chairs. The service was fine, the coffee was good and the serenity was lovely.

I had a very relaxing and comfortable time here at the bistro, I had been to the Bastille Day parade, and found this place charming and suitable to wait at till I had to find a place for the bastille day celebrations (fireworks). The staff were charming and looked after their patrons with water as it was a hot day.
This is definitely a place I will come back to and relax the afternoon away.

Been here many times. Food is solid, service is well Parisian and a business not going to get a lot of personality. Great location and beautiful atmosphere with a magical feel after dark. Would say its a must for a pre or after dinner cocktail.

Service is good, à but slow and nice. Place is quiet, no traffic, no tons of people walking around. Food is OK nothing créative, classic bistrot meals, a bit disappointed by the dessert, a cheese cake.

Although the waitress broke the glass right in front of me, it was totally good, especially the interior mood of the restaurant was perfect.
It’s maybe because I’m not the one who pays the diner.
