An absolute delight and indulgence! We had a fantastic dinner with flavourful food, generous portion and great service – so sad when the plates became empty. Fair price for the quality, worth mentioning that on Thursday nights they are currently offering Steak Frites for a bargain of $30! Such a great find! Very happy.

Excellent restaurant – food and wine were spectacular. We ate the Steak special for $30 – which was so good I didn’t get a picture. We also had croquettes and crème brûlée- both were excellent. Highly recommend for lunch.

We had a lovely breakfast at Bistrot Plume this morning. The coffee was excellent and the Croque Madame was absolutely delicious — rich, crispy, and perfectly done. The café has a warm, relaxed vibe and was a really nice spot to sit and enjoy a slow morning. Great food, great atmosphere — we’ll definitely be back!

Visited Bistrot Plume on Friday 24/01/2025 for dinner. Ordered sourdough with cream and fish croquettes as entrees, duck and fish for mains and a salad for the side, finishing off with a chocolate delice and a creme brulee.
Service: Absolutely welcoming and warm. Our waitress was attentive and lovely with just the right amount of interaction. We never really needed to wait for longer than 30 seconds to get someone’s attention and our plates were cleared around 10 minutes when we clearly had finished. I highly appreciate and incredibly impressed by our waitress who knew all the specials, the ingredients used and able to elaborate go us what things actually were. When we struggled on which sides to get, she was able to recommend a salad to perfectly cut through the meat perfectly.
Food: menu was exceptionally well planned, tastes were well balanced and clearly though had gone into each component. The menu has a limited selection but when you can perfect what you do, it doesn’t matter if it’s limited.
Ambience: lovely little place with not too many tables means that wait staff could attend to patrons and be available.
All in all, it was a lovely meal and visit. I highly recommend making a booking and coming here.

Really lovely service from one of the owners Jackson Fort.
I arrived earlier than their standard 12pm lunch time service. Jackson still invited me in to take a seat and have a drink whilst looking through the menu.
Coffee: superb. Made exactly how I like it.
Food: everything was a delight to eat. I ordered the duck parfait (seriously good, needed to take a moment to absorb all the sensational flavours), leaves, and the piece de resistance was the porterhouse specials steak.

Honestly the best dining experience I’ve had for years. Food, drinks atmosphere all 10/10.
And the Rib Eye with De Paris Butter was the best steak I’ve ever eaten.
Recommend getting the chef’s selection / banquet option.

Staff were extremely accommodating despite us being 30 minutes late as we’ve travelled from Melbourne. Had the Sunday lunch set menu. Food was great and of good value. Will not hesitate to eat there again if I’m at Geelong!

7 April 2024 update – new owners Jackson and Ben are delivering delicious food and friendly relaxed service here now. If you haven’t tried Bistrot Plume recently, I highly recommend it. They are also offering a morning coffee shop service too.
Awesome service, incredibly delicious food, great setting – cosy and suburban. The 2 course lunch special here is unbelievable value. Belmont is blessed ☺️
