We found this small French restaurant almost by chance, just noticing its 4.4 rating. It turned out to be a real gem.
The place has a cozy, countryside French bistro feel, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We started with the onion soup — truly authentic, rich, and comforting — and an excellent pattee.
For mains, we had filet steaks (pepper sauce, beef bourguignon, and white wine) plus a steak tartare. Everything was cooked perfectly medium, tender, and full of flavor. The sauces were great, and the wine recommended by the owner was light and lovely.
We were with kids, and even they loved the food. Desserts were just as good as the rest of the meal.
We came in without expectations and left with one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in years. Highly recommended.

the starter bread comes with a delicious garlic butter. we ordered a french onion soup and the soup of the day which was a cream of spinach. both soups were amazing. the creme brûlée was great too. the main dishes however were why the restaurant was a 4 not 5 star. I ordered a tuscan salmon, the sauce was on the sweet side and the veggies tasted like they came out of a frozen veggie bag. the rice was not good either almost rubbery. my bf ordered a dijon steak that came with fries. if the fries were fresh cut the dish would have been great but they tasted previously frozen too. the steak was great though. over all the ambiance was great the food was as well (minus the salmon and it’s sides).

The place was overall decent. The staff is very friendly and the ambience is low-key. The sauces are great but the food is otherwise some what plain. It all comes at a great price though.
