Walked in and I thought the place was closed. Very dark and dim. But we were greeted and walked over to a brother area with 10 or so tables.
The service was good, and the food was excellent.
I had the onion soup and steak with frittes. Both very good. My wife got the shrimp over risotto and raved about it.
The best part was dessert. We got a chocolate molten cake, which normally I don’t buy because they are so common at every restaurant, but wow, this one was the best I’ve ever had.

Cute lovely atmosphere with live music and the friendliest staff! Service was personable, most courteous & surprised us with nice treats for our anniversary! Food was absolutely delicious & we will defined be coming back again next time we are visiting Marco Island again 🙂

very tasty! the atmosphere of a historical place and a legendary restaurant. this is not a chain restaurant, a copy of which you can find in any state near every traffic light. this is a unique place where we want to come back again. enjoy, there are very few places like this.

*** vegetarian review*** We had a lovely time. The onion soup and tarte tartin (pictured) were spectacular. Was hoping for bubbly servers with a french accent but have no complaints about the very professional service. Next time I may try the ratatouille, no repeat on the mushroom risotto.

We went here for our 48th Anniversary dinner on Friday night. The island was very quiet this week and there were maybe 12 other tables being served. Our waiter Roberto was excellent! My husband ordered the duck and said it was the best he has ever had. I ordered the 10 oz New York Strip which was cooked to perfection. A trip to the Piano Bar after dinner and the evening was complete.

We had a very special birthday dinner there last night. The evening was mild and their outdoor dining has a warm, inviting atmosphere with string lighting. We watched boats in the distance and the sunset was visible. The food is well prepared (my snapper was a small portion) and their birthday dessert is amazing!!! Lastly, the Piano bar is a real treat and we lingered there for quite a while after our meal.

5 stars isn’t enough for this place. I recently had my wedding rehearsal dinner at Bistro Soleil and i was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. I do not live in Florida so i planned it all without ever visiting which made me nervous. They certainly did not disappoint, the staff was SO accommodating and friendly, food was amazing which included gluten free options for those with dietary needs (everyone kept talking about how great it was all weekend), the space is beautiful and unique, they provided extra candles/decor without me asking just because they knew it would be the perfect touch. I can’t say enough about how great this place is. I can’t wait to go back for our anniversary next year to visit them.

Very disappointed in our experience after being here previously. Our server Seth started fine but disappeared midway through the meal. Food was very good from appetizers to entrees but he never returned to refill drinks or check in. Finally a manager/hostess came by and we expressed our frustration with the server never returning but she never offered any solution, just that she’d let him know. Such a bad experience considering the restaurant was mostly empty. No excuse for the lack of attention we received for the price charged. Sadly we won’t be back after management clearly didn’t want to help rectify situation.
