Loved it. Such a cute little Italian restaurant! Great food, beautiful building, the best staff, good prices, and the fastest I have ever had food served! Wish we lived closer!!

Updating my original review after calling the restaurant. After a 10 minute conversation we received a genuine apology and invitation to return.
Just ate here for the second time. Loved it the first time. Great food, great atmosphere, and great waitstaff. Not so much on my last visit. Good overall service and food but I found a screw in my water. Informed my waiter. He apologized and I asked for the manager/owner, Sandy. She came over and was completely condescending with no genuine apology or professionalism. Just excuses. Their customer service is laughable. I would not recommend to anyone.

The place is historic and the atmosphere at the macro level excellent. The staff was attentive and professional. The hostess gave us a history lesson on the building, so that part is 5 stars. However they were out of ravioli, the table top was cracked, out of lids for the to-go cups, glasses were cheap plastic…3 stars. The food on hand was good, not great but good…4 stars.
This is a place to visit, and visit more than once. They are on the cusp of being special if they could work at that last 10%.

We ate here twice because it was difficult to find a place that could accommodate a gluten free diet. Bistro Rialto did the job deliciously. They offer gluten free pastas as well as risotto. They even had a gluten free/vegan cheesecake! The Pasta Caribbean was fantastic. What really shone, though was the service. Our servers were genuinely friendly and helpful and worked hard to please us. My only regret is that we live too far away to become regulars.

The food tastes very homemade!
Cozy environment, too. My waitress, Katelyn, was phenomenal and, as a traveler, I greatly enjoyed hearing her take on Alamosa plus the surrounding area.
Do expect to pay around $10-$20 to get filled up on their pasta and other Italian food, but it’s worthwhile.

We moved to the Alamosa area less than a year ago, right after traveling to Italy, which we really enjoyed. I was very surprised to find a quaint, well run, Italian restaurant in town. It has an inviting atmosphere well decorated and often playing period fitting music for such a venue. I have found the service to be good and I’ve enjoyed all the food I’ve purchased there in 3 meals. The chef comes around, the place has a touch of class, and it is located downtown. Much enjoyed and recommended for a nice lunch, dinner or date.

What a fun little hidden gem. We only ended up stopping in this town because both kids were crying and we had another 2 hours to drive. I’m so glad we did! The service was excellent, the lasagna was delicious, and we had a really fun time.

Nice Italian restaurant located in an old theater. He had spaghetti and sausage. I had chicken marsala with risotto and roasted veggies. Both quite good, as was the service. We drank a glass of wine and it was pretty good. Shared an excellent green salad.

An authentic Italian restaurant located in downtown Alamosa. The food was good, but the portion sizes were huge. They don’t offer any complimentary salad or breadsticks before the meal and only serve garlic bread with your entree. Our waiter and other staff we met were all very friendly. We would eat here again, but we would definitely share a plate next time.

When it comes to Italian food you are very limited in the San Luis Valley but this place does not disappoint. Their pasta is very good and their unlimited soup and salad is very worth it for a quick lunch option. This place is good and we eat here frequently.
