We ordered tomato egg roll, bruschetta, blackened shrimp pasta, and crusted trout. The egg roll needs to be taken off the menu or changed it just tasted like tomato paste. Bruschetta needs more vinegar flavor and the bread was to thick, which caused the outside of bread to burn slightly but bread center was very soft. The trout was covered in breadcrumbs was to much I had to scrape it off. The fish was over cooked, I didn’t mind you cooking it with the skin but I’d prefer no skin and a thick fillet, The trout fillet was thin. The blackened shrimp was not a scampi just a alfredo sauce maybe because we change the pasta noodles from penne to fettuccine. Definitely not a five star or even 4. We will give you another chance in a couple months when we come back. I will put this with an all you can eat buffet quality. We know good food….

Mothers Day lunch. We made reservations, they were ready for us when we arrived early and brought one extra person. Very accommodating. Cocktail menu was inventive and fun. We had the Brussels sprouts and the hush puppies for appetizers. Both were good, but don’t miss those Brussels! The entrees were well prepared and a hearty lunch portion. My roasted mushroom pasta was creamy, earthy and the pasta was not overcooked. We were too full for dessert, but they sure sounded good! Service was attentive, friendly and not distracting. We will definitely go back!

First time visit today. It was fantastic. The garden salad with vinaigrette dressing was great. The pasta, flatbread and blackened shrimp were all delicious. We will be back

Beautiful dining area, great staff. Portions were a bit small and the calamari was a bit greasy and chewy. The pasta was delicious though. Prices were adequate.

Amazing service and the food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the blackened shrimp scampi. By far the best scampi Ive ever had. The egg rolls are definitely worth trying. The “my way” cocktail was fantastic as well!

Very good! The atmosphere is great and the decorations are modern. The hostess was very nice. There is a bar but choices are somewhat limited.

The service was very good. We both had the same pasta dish 1 with chicken and the other with salmon. The chef cooked the order fresh, you can see the kitchen. The meat portion didn’t look like much but it was more than enough. The seasoning and flavor was wonderful. The chicken was very tender and juicy.

There are other items on the menu that I want to try. I will be back. This is just another locally owned restaurant that Corydon needed. Bistro on Chestnut is well worth making a special trip to Corydon for dinner.

You can make reservations online or by calling.

Had the best time enjoying Tavolo! They are new to Corydon, we checked the out during their opening and the food was delicious! We sat at the bar and the bartenders were so knowledgeable about their drinks… we had such a great time!

Try the goat cheese app and eggplant parm!! So good!

We rarely visit the same restaurant twice while on vacation, but we enjoyed the food so much the first time, that we had to come back to try other menu items. We weren’t disappointed! The chef obviously knows what he is doing!

A touch of class has come to Corydon, Indiana! This newly opened establishment can easily give any 5-star Italian cuisine a run for the money and the historic Corydon backdrop makes for a picturesque setting for you and your dining party to walk off those calories after the meal or work up an appetite before the meal! I would check it out now before word gets out about this elegant new place for all your delicious favorite Italian treats and you end up having to make reservations weeks in advance!
