We visited “Bistro my way” for lunch on 1st October, the first day of the new menu, for a treat while on holiday.
The bistro is small but perfectly formed offering 20 or so covers with a chic French vibe. We opted for options from the standard menu to take advantage of the excellent value lunch deal.
While the restaurant was quiet ( it was a Wednesday lunchtime out of holidays) the it felt cosy, and the service was great.
Food was excellent with a good set of options from the specials board to support the main menu.

Just delicious!!!! You will love it!! We shared ham hock coquettes starter so we could enjoy the mains !! Menu changes and there is a specials board.

Wow, highly recommend this superb bistro. We had the Sunday Roast 3 Course and were all thrilled with the quality of the good and exceptional service we received. It was our first time but there were lots of regulars being greeted so it’s obviously popular.

Really good food and staff, just attentive enough but never too much. The chef is excellent and the dish descriptions on the menu don’t do justice to what you’ll receive. For us the desserts were the stand-out part of the meal, and the Latvian Honey cake, Teurgoule, and the Pear with blue cheese and chutney ice cream all got rave reviews.
Definitely worth a visit.

Had a fantastic experience at Bistro My Way today ,for my birthday lunch.
The staff were so friendly and knew we were new to the restaurant. The roasts we had were absolutely delicious as were the starters. I was given BD ice cream too!

We found this hidden gem unexpectedly, driving by from the Highcliffe Castle. We were purely amazed by this restaurant, food and service, that they have provided. First of all, it is run by the French staff with a French chef, who cooked beautiful and very tasty dishes! Mussels, grilled seafood and desserts were simply fabulous, but my winner was the steak from the Specials board, which was one of the best steaks I have ever tried, perfectly cooked, so tender and flavourful. Although this Bistro is almost 2 hours drive from our home, we would definitely come back again. Thank you for the lovely dinner and great time!

Came here as a group of 4 for Sunday lunch. The roast beef dinner with all the trimmings was one of the best I’ve tasted. Superb! Great portion sizes and plenty of really tasty gravy. The sea bass and the crab were also highly recommended and looked great. Just about squeezed in a yummy pudding, and the bill was very reasonable too. Great attentive service and lovely cosy setting. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Enjoy.

My wife and I went for a Valentines meal and it was the perfect night. The staff were friendly and helped create a wonderfully warm atmosphere. But, nothing can beat the quality of the food. I had the scallop and pork belly starter. A ribeye steak for mains and a Creme brûlée for dessert. Everything was perfect. The price was less than I expected also. Go try it for yourself.
