The staff are all really nice. The atmosphere is awesome. The octopus was a little rubbery. But otherwise the food was good.
Edit:
One major point of feedback which the owner addressed after seeing this review.
Original feedback:
We ordered one paella and two tapas. One would assume that we’d pay for 1 main and 2 appetizers (because that’s what we got). Instead, they charged us for 2 entrees + 2 apps. They doubled the price of the paella with no warning. No where in the menu does it say that the price is per person or that the dish will be made for 2. That said, there was a lot of sea food, so the portion was definitely generous. However, if you’re going to charge double for a portion, you need to let people know.

A hidden Gem!!! A must for foodies. The Octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked, great texture and taste. We enjoyed the beautifully prepared pallia which was scrumptious. The duck breast was amazing, tender and so very tasty. The wait staff was attentive and caring. Complimentary champagne and garlic olives provided a nice beginning. The live guitarist added to to the romantic ambiance. We will come back.

What a gem of a place!! The food was delicious. I will be back. I’ll most likely be dreaming about the tapas!! The Garlic shrimp ( shrimps are big), the lobster crepe and Caesar Salad were decadent and tasty. Their take on paella was great too. The seafood was fresh and cooked just right. And a happy surprise was how perfect their house made ice cream was. The Catalina flavor is magnificent!! Btw, they are a byob

A lovely trip to the Iberian Peninsula with delicious food, friendly service and live background guitar music. James’ suggestions were spot on from the lobster crepe appetizer to the swordfish and paella entrees.

This was our first time dining at this new (5 weeks young) restaurant but it won’t be our last! There were two stars that shined bright tonight: the food, and the head server Michael. The food was inventive and beautifully presented. We started with the complimentary olives, roasted garlic, caper berries, olive oil, and bread. The quality of the olive oil was very good and the roasted garlic was creamy and complimented the bread perfectly. The pitted olives were large and had a mild brine to them. Our first course consisted of the grilled octopus and the watermelon, feta, and iberico ham. The octopus had a nice char which gave it a rich flavor. The sweetness of the watermelon complemented the saltiness of the feta and ham. The feta had a rich flavor. It was obviously of high quality. The entrees were all superb. I did not taste the swordfish but our friend really enjoyed it. It was served over kale, garlic confit, clams, chorizo, fennel, and potato in a rich broth. Two of us had the honey lavender roasted duck breast, which was served with brussels sprouts, mushroom, leeks, sunchokes, and tomato. It was tender and was a huge hit. The fourth entree consisted of a duo of perfectly cooked and seasoned pistachio crusted double lamb chops. It came with a flavorful pearled couscous with dried fruit and exotic spices. I could taste the Moorish influences. We ended the meal on a high note with two desserts: a fall spiced crème brûlée and a rich deep chocolate flourless cake topped with crystallized orange with fresh strawberries and blueberries. The service was sublime. Michael was passionate about making sure we all were happy with every aspect of the food and service. I enjoyed his personality and appreciated his recommendations. We look forward to our next Bistro Iberia experience! Highly recommended!

What a kool place! I have always liked this location for a restaurant because of its Ny village vibe! Mike the owner knocks it out of the park. From the complementary glass of champagne to the olive and bread free dishes that are top shelf. There was a classically trained Spanish guitarist playing. To bad the uniformed could not appreciated him but, being a musician I really dug his talent. It a BYOB so nothing not to like about this place. Kudos to Mile and his staff!!!!

My first time visiting the area and my friend suggested this restaurant. We decided to sit at the bar and order from the tapas menu, and it was the best decision ever!! The staff were so friendly and attentive. The lobster crepe and patatas bravas are a MUST!!! I usually don’t like olives but the olives here may have changed my mind.

We were delighted with the menu and service. A bit chilly inside, bring a sweater. Grilled octopus was perfectly done/tender, served with a crunchie celery salad. Paella, swordfish, lobster crepe- sealed the deal for a return ressy. The owner said the building was the old Highlands Post Office at one time; keeping the exposed clay tile, tin ceiling and cement floor for an eclectic feel. Tables were dressed with white table clothes and sparkling glasses. BYOB. Our new favorite.

Food was excellent! Owner and staff were very friendly and attentive. I recommend the lobster crepes as a start and lamb chops and duck as a main course.
