Bistro Guillaume is one of the premiere restaurants in Perth. Prices aren’t cheap but the food quality was exceptional and the service attentive & patient. The beef bourguignon was melt in your mouth & the roast chicken was very tasty and well cooked. The desserts were all delicious but the soufflé was amazing.

It’s a bistro. We were plonked in middle, right in the toilet runway. No tablecloths and outside of views, the overall atmosphere was pleasant at best.
One thing I’ll stress is that staff need to check bathrooms. Unisex and toilet seat up and used hand towel paper on floor. If it was my restaurant or I was in charge, I would check bathrooms often and overall appearance often.
Food was fine. We ordered the weekday special. Tomato medley was nice and the pork belly I had was so so. No pork crackle which was disappointing. Husband had the steak and they were happy to make a béarnaise sauce. Fries and salad to share which were both nice. Desert of profiteroles and passionfruit soufflé were quite lovely.
Enjoyed my company, ten stars to him.

Take 2 – enjoyed a fabulous dinner (2nd time around) courtesy of Bistro Guillaume inviting us back (after a disappointing dinner in our actual anniversary). Service was excellent, the food was superb, tasty generous servings, hot and freshly cooked! This is the Bistro Guillaume that we know and have grown to love. Well done!!

The food is very good . It is a nice place to celebrate birthdays. The amount might be a little small. Starters and side dishes are recommended with mains. Just be aware if you need a little privacy then might be a little hard. Tables are quite close to each other.

Had the market fish with a side of the gratin dauphinois and mashed potatoes. The fish was nice, although it could have been cooked a little longer, as it was quite thick and wasn’t as tender as it could have been. The gratin was tasty and the mash was nice and creamy. For dessert we had the creme brulee, and while it was good, it was missing the crack on top. The service is friendly and reasonably quick. Drinks came out pretty quickly as well. It’s expensive, more of a special occasion spot.

Anniversary Dinner. Quite underwhelming experience. We had the Beef Bourginon and Crab Linguine. Very disappointed with the dishes. Taste and quantity pretty average for a fine dining restaurant. Creme brulee crust not hard. Waiter asked if it was a special occasion and just got a piped chocolate “Happy Anniversary “written on the plate of the Creme brulee we ordered. Paid $196 incl a $65 bottle of wine. Good only if you are there for anything but the food.

Went to Bistro Guillaume recently for a birthday and had a pretty good experience overall! I tried the Flamingo mocktail which was really refreshing. For mains, we had the linguine—the flavours were spot on and the portion size was great, though it was a bit too salty for me personally. The beef bourguignon was just okay—it tasted more like regular BBQ beef, nothing too special, and I wish it came with mashed potatoes or a salad (you have to order those separately).
The highlight for me was definitely the crème brûlée—absolutely perfect! Also, they brought out a lovely “Happy Birthday” plate written in chocolate, which was such a nice touch. As Crown Rewards members, we also got a 10% discount and some complimentary chocolates at the end.
