This was genuinely the WORST food experience I’ve ever partook in. The service took at least 15 minutes to sit us down, and there was a constant line of people waiting to be seated. Once you’re seated it only gets WORSE there was multiple times where the waiters asked for our order multiple times, and when we finally get our first course it had been an hour and the order was wrong. The main course came 45 minutes later and was burnt to a crisp. The only good thing about this dining experience was laughing about how comically awful it was. Don’t eat here
unless your expecting to spend hours of your quality time for food that I wouldn’t serve to my dog.

Arrived for a Thanksgiving meal after having made reservations a month in advance. They had no record in the reservation. I had a record of the phone call so they said that we could be seated if we waited 1.5 hours. We waited in the bar watching reruns of old football games because they had limited TV viewing and CBS black out on the Thanksgiving day Cowboys football game. When we were finally seated no one brought us water or anything to drink. No one told is to serve ourselves, there were no plates out. We finally asked and someone eventually brought out plates. The food was cool, the asparagus was pretty tasty, the pork loin was like leather that had sat in the sun too long, turkey was passable, no bowls available at the soup station. We finally asked someone for water. desserts were grocery store grade- passable at best. The most amazing part is that we had to ask for our check not once but twice!! I would MOST definitely NOT recommend this restaurant!

Not recommended for large groups. … service was extremely slow. … people who ordered appetizers, entrees and sides did not get their meals in correct order… got the entrees first and then sides followed by appetizers. 24 people in the group and took 1.5 hours to get our food. Most of us just got soup and salads, really insane.
Also would not give us separate checks, all 24 orders were on one check of over $600.00.

DO NOT GO, went for Christmas Buffet spent 120$ for four of us to eat just to get food poisoning and spend all night in the bathroom. Food was left sitting out, potatoes were crunchy, rice was crunchy, food was cold. This whole resort is terrible. The response I got from management “sorry for the inconvenience”
The whole Split Rock Resort is a JOKE. Absolutely disgusting.

Good food, ok service, great company for dinner. Big problem with the very loud service carts rattling by & through the actual dining room every 4-5 minutes.

I have heard a truck backfire more quietly. Definitely not good dining atmosphere. Unless maybe in a school cafeteria or outside event

Staff completely oblivious to the racket & disturbance? There IS a service elevator & there MUST be service hallways, even if a bit longer distance.

Don’t expect 5 star food or service & if you have a loud or chaotic family, I’m sure you’ll be comfortable. For a special event, consider the restaurants nearby, down the road.

Literally there was one of their Very Frequent FIRE-DRILLS during our 2nd & last attempt to eat here during a Sunday brunch.
Confirmed with the local Responding Fire Units that it was, in fact, another Drill. Ugg. Heartburn, maybe. Something positive? … I guess the omelette was ok. While I had it.

Best of luck! Hope the water park is better!!

Best salmon I have ever had but my companions did not like the beef in the fajita. Quesadilla looks like a taco and has no cheese. Beautiful decor.

Inside was very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The good was very good, I had the wings which were very good, everyone seemed to love the salad bar’s ham soup. Their prices are a little
on the high end, but food was good.

The hostess and our waitress were great, the food was ok, my husband got the ribeye with roasted potatoes, said the steak had zero flavor, I had the apple cider glazed porkchops, with veggies and mashed potatoes, the mashed potatoes were really good, but most of my veggies were burnt, the kids enjoyed their food.

After skinny dipping in the hot tub and being yelled at by hotel staff. It is nice to know the silly salmon on the menu is just as tasty as I am ….. yummy
