I attempted to eat at this restaurant 2 nights ago. I ordered chicken wings for an appetizer…. They were horrible… no seasoning, garlic Parmesan tasted like Parmesan you put on noodles… watery and just downright tasteless. The entree was sub par, asked our waitress for butter, salt and pepper… never got it. Ordered Pasta, didn’t know it was gonna be loaded with Cajun sauce and hot… Ordered the regular pasta as a replacement, after 30 minutes…. We cancelled it.. Didn’t see our waitress any more that night. A different girl came and collected our money. Asked for a manager, worthless! We paid a mandatory $32 tip for our table and no service, and the food was horrible! Ended up eating Pizza from Pizza Hut which was far better! Don’t waist your money or your time.

We had a excellent dinner. I had the catfish poor boy and it was very good. Another person had the burger medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. The steak fries were awesome and they brought warm rolls to start. So good! The bartender stopped by to make sure our drinks were prepared correctly. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. A nice experience. Recommended! My only constructive criticism is to switch out the menus periodically. They were a bit crusty.

I tried bistro over Perkins and I was very disappointed. After I was seated, it took almost 15 minutes before a server even acknowledged me. When the server did come to the table I ordered my drink appetizer and entree Because I was afraid it would take forever for me to get it if I didn’t. It was another 15 minutes before I got my drink then when I did get my food and appetizer they were both brought about the same time and the server never checked back after I got my food until I was finished. I had pasta with no bread because she checked by for me to ask for it. Incidentally, I was the only seated table. I left full over food but lacking satisfaction from service. If gratuity wasn’t already added I would have tipped perhaps less than 10%.

I ordered the grilled Caesar Salad with steak (medium rare). The menu description did not list what dressing came on the salad and the dressings options didn’t include “Caesar dressing”, so I specifically asked if the salad came with a Caesar dressing. I was assured it did…. Now this was important to me as I do not like very many dressings, but I do I like a good Caesar dressing. The presentation of the salad was nothing like the photos I had observed online. Rather than having sliced portions of steak, it was served with chopped up pieces of steak like you find served in a typical stir-fry dish. It was, however, medium-rare as requested. The dressing…. Oh, the dressing…. It was pink, and more reminiscent of a thousand island (thank goodness I ordered it “on the side”) and nothing like a typical Caesar dressing. I then asked if I could get oil and vinegar which is listed on the menu but was told they don’t have that. So, I asked for either balsamic vinegarette or Italian on the side (both listed as dressing options). I was given the Italian which was tolerable, but not my fave. Truth is, I would have never ordered a salad if I had been given an honest answer about the Caesar dressing. All in all, there are few choices in Blytheville for a dinner restaurants, and this one just totally missed the mark. Two stars given for the kind and accommodating staff, Zero stars given for the food. (Photos added…the “sliced beautiful salad” was found on YELP and what I expected…. The other photo is what I actually was served along with the pink Caesar dressing.

10-9-22 Okay, so we are staying in the hotel connected to this establishment. We read menus online, and after finally deciding what to get to-go, my fiance called. He asked for a bistro pizza. To which the young lady informed him that if we are looking at an online menu, that it is wrong. He walked down to the restaurant and they gave him a plastic menu to hold here for our stay & informed us they are only out of pork chops but bistro pizza isn’t an option from them now. We ordered a cup of the seafood bisque, he chose the black Angus burger all the way with the steak fries. I ordered the Philly cheese steak wrap with no lettuce and steak fries. So, the seafood bisque is Not chunky at all — no crab or shrimp. However, this creamy full fledge liquid soup had the STRONGEST & MOST DELICIOUS Flavor to me. I am used to crab meat throughout the ones I have tried before. But the flavor in this is very potent and I seriously LOVED IT! My fiance tried and he said it was just too much for him flavor wise. If you don’t enjoy salt or strong flavor you may not like this, but I certainly did. (Will attach a picture, but I had already consumed many bites before I took it) He enjoyed his all the way cheeseburger and fries. I also enjoyed my Philly wrap & steak fries were yummy. Wrap was juicy and delicious. Did ask for mayo/ketchup packets as we are in a hotel and they’re appreciated as a Philly needs mayo in my opinion. If we eat here again while we are in town for 7 more days, i will update the review if needed. Also going to attach the most recent menu as of today (the date stated above) To go soup was in a perkins cup so i assume they are in some way affiliated with them; being that both are attached to the hotel. Thought I’d note that since my soup pic could be confusing otherwise. Wish I could do 4.5 stars because my main complaint is the lack of online menu that is correct. I am a major foodie and enjoy descriptions of a meal I may order in advance. Hence why I am leaving this detailed review here now.
*update: I ordered the bowl of the seafood bisque next, and it is still as delicious and flavorful. For an idea of how much it serves, they fill an entire medium filled Perkins cup full of it- 3 servings at least. I also enjoyed the spring rolls. I did feel like they needed a sauce so I am unsure if that was supposed to be included or if they do not include a sauce with them in general. Overall, i do wish I could take that soup recipe with me back home to FL. & the price they offer it for is insane cheap imo.

Nice atmosphere good menu on the food $$ 3-27-18. Salad and local special. Tonight they ran out of garlic bread but the hostess was nice enough to give me some bread.

Kristy was ok, but not too notch for a ‘bistro’. The name sounded like a fancy place. The only thing fancy was the price. $30 for a burger and ‘deep fries spring roll’?!? Is that an Arkansas thing? Greasy fried mini cooked something. Definitely not like any spring rolls we eat on a regular basis, all over the country. The bistro, was located in a room off the hotel, as restaurant under construction. No wonder the place was barren. They don’t answer the phone at all!
The $15 burger, dry meat, wimpy ‘crispy Bacon’s and the bun, so wimpy, greasy and inedible. Ate the burger without. The tickets is so screwed up. Worst place to eat, was told it was good by hotel upon checking in. Bad recommendation.
I can see why it has a 3.2 rating.
Someone, maybe mgr, is doing some skimming as this check sucks at addition…. Definitely won’t be using holiday Inn in Blythville anymore, as we have many times the last decade. Will continue to sikeston mo next time.

Food overall is really good! If you sit at the bar you will have the chance to have a quicker service since the bartender is right there.
We moved to the dining area with a group of coworkers and service was very slow. Also our order was short (not wrong) thought we ordered 2 dozen wings, but only got one and 2 shrimp cocktails and we only got one. Water were never refilled and the plates we were done with were removed until the check was requested.
We also ordered some grilled jalapenos and when we inquired the waitress about them her response was that the cook “had an attitude” and that our jalapenos woudn’t be made.
Overall it is a pleasant experience, give them a shot but don’t come on a rush. I highly recommend the Honey Siracha wings.
