Update!Aug. 2025 The Bistro Bar & Restaurant closes at 11pm. I ended up losing my original overnight due to weather and ground stop delays in Washington DC so was looking foward to my stay here at the Clarion as it has been nearly a yr since my last visit. It was so nice to see some of my favorite hotel employees. They honestly feel like an extension of my ohana (family). From the front desk, to the Bistro/ Bar restraunt I was welcomed w/ open arms like you are when you haven’t seen loved ones such as family members and friends for a long period of time. It was so great to be greeted so personally and truly filled my heart. So to all of those hotel and bistro/ restraunt working employees/ staff and management please know I consider you an extension of my ohana (family) and appreciate the hospitality. Mahalo (Thank you) for making me feel so loved and welcomed back. During this visit it was nice to see Ms. Chante who is all about customer service and providing a great experience when dinning in or even taking out from the Bistro bar/ restraunt. I always look forward to one of her cocktails. During my visit along w/ a cocktail I ordered a ham, turkey w/ provolone croissant sandwich, w/ a side of fresh berries and the house chicken noodle soup. It didn’t disappoint. Everything was so tasty and much needed after a long day of flying and no time for eating lol. Anyways… Please enjoy my recent pictures and video uploads. UPDATE! Oct. 2024 This hotel is one I frequent, and they have nice size, clean rooms, I’m not a fan of the small square pillows. Note that there is a little restraunt bar that can be a little confusing to access. After my recent visit, it has been brought to my attention that the prices at the restaurant have doubled if not tripled. My usual dinner was a ham and cheese sandwich that was originally high at $13 for a simple sandwich, which is now listed at $17. I used to order a bowl of either chicken noodle or tomato soup that was $5-$6, which has increased to now both being $10 each. So w/ that said I decided to order the chicken alfredo for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how creamy it was. It comes with a garlic knot but could use some fresh veggies. Also, for a healthier dietary option, I would substitute for a small cup of fruit, and during my visit, I was told no substitutions. Really? Why, it’s less of a hassle and a healthier choice. Also take note that the restraunt bar serves a limited selection of bar food items, alcohol and non alcohol beverages, but all the menu items have gone up in price.

I have mixed feelings about this place. A good friend of mine stays at the Marriott next door when he comes into town, & this is his favorite place because he can walk here & drink a few beers then walk back to his hotel. I often join him for beers & a meal. It’s OK for what it is, but it wouldn’t be my choice. Food is decent, atmosphere is ok but its a small, quiet place that caters to travelers who don’t feel like going far from their hotel.

I had some food here a couple days ago me and my wife and a server by the name Chante was very rude. After I order my food she tried to charge me extra money for condiments and coffee. I explained to her that I already paid for it and instead of apologizing she walked away and blamed the other server which I guess was new. The food is decent but the service from this lady was not acceptable. I have spent a lot of money in this hotel but I guarantee you I will not be back.

I have been a loyal patron of this establishment, particularly given my frequent stays in the area due to my military service. Unfortunately, the service in the kitchen has taken a turn for the worse under the supervision of a particular staff member. An older African American woman who wear dreads in her hair. On my recent visit, I requested condiments from a male server who courteously attended to my needs. However, the kitchen staff member in question intervened, instructing the male server to charge extra for the condiments if I requested them in the future. This interaction was not only unprofessional but also conducted in a manner that was humiliating for the server and distressing for me, as I was compelled to witness the exchange. As a paying customer and someone who has been disrespected by this staff member on a prior occasion, I find her behavior to be unacceptable. Furthermore, my observations suggest that her demeanor towards other patrons has been similarly inhospitable. I strongly believe that her conduct is detrimental to the success of the business.

Nacho was a excellent bartender and server. I had the dry rub wings, yum! I dipped them in the bbq and the Frank hot sauce. I loved the side salad, generous amount of cucumbers, tomatoes and onions.

The perfect little cafe just a short walk from my motel. I had an overnight layover and needed some quick food, this spot was perfect. The spiral fries are delicious! And servers were friendly.
