Social Profile:

A small bistro serving modestly priced, home-style meals, wine, and coffee. A French – Vietnamese Bistro is our twist on this classic French tradition. Bistro BT is trying to provide our south Tampa neighborhood with a family, casual spot; where you can just drop in for a quick bite, or a leisurely lunch/dinner, or even just order from our take-out menu. We conceived the bistro as the perfect compromise between our more elegant “ Restaurant BT” and our casual, “BT To Go,“ featuring French classics like Coq Au Vin and Duck Confit, as well as traditional Vietnamese dishes such as “Bun“, “Pho“, and our Banh Mi sandwiches.

This place is small but it has a really good atmosphere. We went around 5:30 and it was pretty empty, they open at 5. There is parking in front or on the side. The staff was really nice and food came out fast. I had the fresh rolls with shrimp. For my main entrée I had pho with beef, both dishes were good. I would like to go back and try other dishes. As others have said before it is on the pricey side.

First time at BT, pricy but worth it. Extra efforts are made in presentation, dipping sauce, service and decor. Only thing I dislike is Clover tip suggestions include Sale Tax. I always tip on the subtotal.

I love local mom & pop places that use fresh ingredients in flavorful dishes. I have driven by here so many times and glad we finally stopped in for a date night that we were not disappointed on.

AMAZING! I’ve driven by this place a million times. Today my family and I gave it a try and were instantly hooked! The ingredients are all so fresh and the flavors are so well balanced. We will be regulars from now on. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

I strongly recommend finishing dining with Homemade Coconut Ice Cream! Ingredients are so fresh. Every dishes I ordered taste so fresh, delicious, healthy. Especially I loved papaya salad with shrimp.

I have been eating here two times per week since I moved to Tampa a few years ago. I am a fan of all BT’s locations. Everything is very fresh! I am also blown away how good and healthful the pho is compared to other pho restaurants. And you never walk away with that over-stuffed pho feeling. 10 stars!

Best French Vietnamese restaurant we’ve visited in Tampa. Fresh, organic, great prices. Best and most delicious butternut squash we’ve tasted; unique and different.

My first time was just a few days ago. I caught them just a few minutes before they closed but they were happy to serve me and were even dog friendly in their outside section so my 4 legged friend could join. I didn’t know you could pack so much flavor into one banh mi. I loved it so much that I went home, skipped breakfast the next day just to be good and hungry and came back for my very next meal. Highly recommend

You need to visit this little eco-friendly gem. The sister bistro of Restaurant BT is a French-Vietnamese fusion that’s worth the price. You should try the three iced teas they serve with metal straws: ginger, jasmine and green tea-lemonade. I really don’t know which one was more delicious and refreshing. I had the Duck paté bruschetta as appetizer, that you’ll find in the pictures below and their version of coq au vin which was amazing. “Je reviendrai.” Enjoy!
