I’m so grateful for Bistro Bravado. As others have said, their breakfast options are super tasty and affordable. However, can we talk about their lunch menu? Today I had their special – braised short rib bowl, with pomegranates and carrots over mashed potatoes. It was absolutely decadent, well-portioned, and quite reasonably priced at $17. Who serves food like this at such a price point, for casual lunch dining? I did not expect the quality and price of food to be found here. I’m not even sure Sacramento deserves this wonderful place, but if you’re smart, check out this gem. It won’t be a secret for long.

Walked passed the Capital this afternoon and saw this nice Bistro Bravado sign, came in to check it out, as I am doing that the 2 guys waiting go to get their order when the server yells “CHIMICHURRI COLD CUTS!” So I had to get the same thing because I had never been here before and Yelp just raved about the breakfast burrito and it was noon now so I dont know if they cut off breakfast time. Well I am glad I went with the Chimichurri cold cut. It was ready in about 2 minutes….and it was AMAZING DELCIIOUS AND TASTY. So flavorful! Wow, I cannot stop raving about it. I am so glad I found this spot, next I will be trying this breakfast burrito I hear good things about!

I’m so glad I discovered this small-but-mighty place!
Takeout only, with patio seating outside. I needed a substantial breakfast and found this a block from the Hyatt. Chef made the pictured sausage and gravy scramble, a hefty meal indeed! While he cooked, the jovial chef and I chatted a bit.
So good I went back the next day. Didn’t need the huge breakfast, so enjoyed the breakfast burrito. Both meals were made from scratch, with real ingredients, at a fair price. Could not have been more pleased.

Breakfast burrito was awesome. $10. Good salsa verde too. Coffee is self serve but cheap, $3.50. So that’s a plus. Definitely recommend. Order ahead!

The chicken BLT’s that me and my wife had were great! From the bread to the chicken to the chipotle Aioli it was all delicious. Great service and outside seating. The chicken was flavorful and juicy. Bacon crispy. Bead soft and lightly toasted. Great sandwich! Also got to hang out with the manager and two beautiful horses!

Staff is friendly and the food was super affordable and delicious. I got the breakfast scramble and for $10 it was a steal. The portion size was great and online ordering was very easy. I will definitely be back and hope you will also support this small business and give them a try.

Honestly one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had in Sacramento. The portion size was generous, it was wrapped perfectly (didn’t fall apart at all as I ate), and the salsa verde was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount provided for the size of the burrito. No indoor seating, but there’s outdoor seating that faces the Capitol building, which makes it a really nice downtown gem for a quick morning bite. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality and value in the heart of Sacramento.
