We had dinner at Bistro Boheme last night and absolutely loved it. The food was amazing from start to finish, the oysters were fresh and perfect, the grilled steak was incredibly delicious, and the crème brûlée was the ideal ending.

The service was just as impressive. Our waiter was extremely attentive, genuinely kind, and made excellent recommendations, especially for the wine. He really made the whole experience even better.

A wonderful evening overall, highly recommended!

In a city often obsessed with the avant-garde and the “new Nordic” experimentalism, Bistro Boheme remains the definitive master of the classic. It doesn’t follow trends; it sets the benchmark for what a high-stakes, high-reward dining experience should be.
The Atmosphere: Power and Elegance
Walking into Bistro Boheme feels like entering a private club where the world’s movers and shakers come to exhale. It captures that rare “Parisian-meets-Copenhagen” energy—vibrant, sophisticated, and impeccably polished. Whether you are there for a high-level closing dinner or a private moment of reflection, the room vibrates with an energy that is proactive rather than reactive.
The Culinary Execution
Chef Per Thøstesen operates with a level of precision that mirrors the standards of the global elite. There is no guesswork here—only mastery.
• The Signature Classics: The Rossini Caviar service is handled with the reverence it deserves, and the Tournedos Rossini is arguably the best in Northern Europe—unapologetically decadent and technically flawless.
• The Wine List: A curated selection that speaks to those who understand vintage and terroir. It is a list built for connoisseurs who appreciate depth and rarity.
The Service: Intuitive and Refined
For someone who values efficiency and hates the “red tape” of lackluster service, Bistro Boheme is a masterclass. The staff doesn’t just wait on you; they anticipate. It’s the kind of “invisible” service where your glass is never empty and your needs are met before you’ve even articulated them.

Dinner at Bistro Boheme was… an experience.
And not in a good way.

We walked in and stood there unnoticed while several staff members saw us and chose silence. Eventually a slightly confused maître d’ showed us to our table. Waiter asked us if we wanted water after maybe 30 minutes, took our food order after closer to 40. The explanation? “It was chaos earlier, you should be happy you arrived now when it’s slowed down” If you run a restaurant of this size, managing service is not optional.

The lobster bisque turned out to be an onion soup with absolutely no lobster. We were told the lobster is removed because “Danes don’t like lobster in soup, so we throw it away” Then it shouldn’t be called a lobster bisque.

The smoked salmon was fine. The grilled steak and pepper sauce were good. But being offered red wine only after we’d eaten a quarter of the main course is basic service failure.

Overall, it felt overpriced and underdelivered. A decent steak is easy to find. This experience was not.
Won’t be returning.

French high end bistro serving sharable food that sometimes has a twist. The venue has a vibe and an “atmosphere” that elevates the whole experience. The service is attentive and sometimes with an opinion, as you would expect from a french bistro. We went there for a quick lunch (and a bottle from a very decent wine list). The scallop is an absolute must have as well the tartar where they put criminally delicious mini-french fries on top. Would love to have a full dinner at the place, definitely going back there.

Went here for lunch. The crab, dill, avocado, citrus salad was not at all what I expected (not what I’d think of as a salad), but very delicious. The chopped beef was barely seasoned and not good. The fish cakes with spinach and mushroom was just ok. The service was great. They charged way too much for water…

It was just a really great night out. The food was full of flavor, the vibe was cozy without being fancy, and the staffs made everything feel easy and welcoming. Nothing over the top – just really well done all around.

Went in to have lunch with kids. Food looked good, but taste wise very disappointing. French onion soup and fries – over seasoned (very salty). French toast the same. Overdone as well.

Tried this place during business trip.
From atmosphere, service to food, it was just amazing experience.
I really do appreciate for the great service for you all 🙂 strongly recommend.

Tried oyster, tartare and lamb steak.
Oyster was super freah. Tartare was not too heavy even for main. Lamb was also great

A truly unique experience. The service was so attentive, the atmosphere was lively and chic, and the food was simply exquisite.
The chef creatively combines French and Scandinavian cooking styles. The scallop was like nothing I’d ever had, with asian flavouring and tender like butter. Thøstesen’s fried egg is a one-of-a-kind dish, a perfect combination of flavours and textures, complex but harmonious.
An evening that will be remembered!
