The whole D concourse is like some throwback, grungy, poorly maintained scene and this place fits in perfectly. Almost aggressively bad service, bad layout except for the bar and over priced mediocre everything. There were a bunch of open tables and the waitress yelled at me when I tried to sit in a small table at the front and tried to drag me to the back of the restaurant where tables are sloppily crammed together– so I chose the bar. Similar disinterested service but at least the bartender was fast. The non funny thing is that this is the best option in the concourse for anything non fast food. Next time I fly out of the D terminal, I’ll stop in B that is newly renovated and at least has a few decent dining options. AVOID this place if you can!

Ordered French Onion Soup. It literally had 2 slices of American Cheese thrown on top. Because of who I am, I ate it, but not after scraping the cheese off. The soup base wasn’t too bad at least. Unfortunately it was ruined by the abomination of cheese use.

I’m on a layover to my next flight, sadly I ended up on Terminal D, that is just bad, crowded and outdated, to continue with my bad impression I ended up at this “bistro” , the only good thing is no wait time, but besides that everything is bad, I ordered a simple breakfast bagel that consists in eggs, cheese and bacon, whee to start!!! The bagel was hard, the egg had a bunch of egg shells (just disgusting) and the bacon was overcooked. My advice, avoid this place, walk as much as you can and I find a better option, even if is fast food.

I ordered the English breakfast with a coffee and the bill came out to $20.76 before tip. They were out of potatoes but I was fine with subbing for French Fries. The food came out pretty quick and the server was really nice. Overall, the food and coffee were good. This is a decent place to eat at while you are waiting for your flight.

Easily one of the worst steaks I’ve ever had in my life. It was neither a ribeye (as I was told) nor anything closely resembling medium rare (as I had requested). Entirely flavorless (all seasoning in the picture added by me). The fries were fine, if not a tad overcooked. I would expect a better steak from a below-average diner for less than a third of the cost. The wine was also of poor quality.

HOLY SMOKES…if I could leave ZERO stars, I would!! The food was terrible and the server was incredibly rude. It took about 5 minutes for someone to walk by the podium, then she brushed me off and said I could sit anywhere while walking away from me. It took about 20 minutes for someone to give me a menu, and I had to flag someone down to ask for one. Then she grabbed a menu off someone else’s table and gave to me Then it took about 10 minutes after reviewing the menu to be asked what I wanted to eat and drink. About 20 minutes after that, I had to ask for my water and she rolled her eyes and said she’ll be back with it. Then she forgot again and just brought it out with my food. I ordered the eggs Benedict which was very cold and disgusting. The fries were cold and the eggs were cold, and the muffins were cold. Then I had to flag her down after ANOTHER 20 minutes, to get my check and she rolled her eyes yet again. I wish Dulles had better food options but unfortunately, this is what we have. I watched at least three people sit down and get up and walk out because this place was so awful!

For an airport, the escargot was actually pretty good and not too bad of a price! You can easily spend 17$ on some absolutely terrible food at an airport, so the fact that this tastes this good for this price is worth writing a review for! Make sure you shake the little shells and get all that good stuff out, the meat gets stuck in the back…

The food tasted awful. The croissant seems to have been 6 months old or more. It was hard and dry with a nasty stale taste. The begels, same terrible. The service was completely inflexible and unwilling to help. You’ll get better customer service at McDonald’s and better quality food, too. The cream cheese they gave us, was opened and crusty!

Part 1:
I ordered the English Breakfast and I asked for over easy. The waitress replies scrambled I said no Over easy. The order comes out and I told her the eggs were over easy. Instead of admitting to her mistake and getting me an order with over easy. She argued with me that she did not hear my order. I replayed our conversation and then says do you want it not. I replied it’s not what I ordered. She replies so you want me to change it? I stopped at this point as the conversation should not have gone this far with her questioning what I ordered. The staff here seem to have English as a second language and could use a bit more customer service when they mess up an order.
Part 2:
The waitress came back and apologized and gave me a discount for her error and offered a take out coffee for my troubles. I thought that was a nice gesture considering the misunderstanding. Definitely the customer service one would expect.

DONT EAT HERE! I’m also filing a report with the Health/ Food authority which governs thee food facilities in the airport.
We arrived in between flights to grab a bite to eat before our next flight. We were immediately seated but had to wait for a bit for service. They didn’t appear to be busy but no problem. We had about 45 mins to eat. Unlike other airports where if they ask if you have an upcoming flight, they didn’t inquire when we finally received service. We ordered two salads and three (3) Steak Frites Medium. As you can see below one was nearly raw. We asked if we be refunded for the raw one and they said no but they could redo it and we informed them that we had a flight. It took 12 minutes for the manager to come and see us to address it and he said there is nothing to be done as we didn’t have the time to wait.
Ridiculous and the manager should be replaced as it’s clear he’s not managing this facility well, can’t successfully deal with customers and fails to ensure that the wait staff receives the support needed from management.
