My first visit to Bistro 72 was when Hotel Indigo opened in September 2010. My then fiancé (now husband) and I booked a few rooms for our guests for our May 2011 wedding. I have visited just a few times since then, as it holds a special place in my heart.

Overall, the hotel now looks a bit dated, the parking lot has one entrance and exit which is a bit confusing. The vibe walking in is very nice as it’s great to have a restaurant in the hotel.

I stopped by on Tuesday June 24th in between my social work shifts as I had a long day ahead and it was very hot out due to heat wave. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted by server who was nice. I ended up ordering a mocktail and a portobello mushroom sandwich which was not as tasty as I had anticipated.

The 2 gentlemen sitting next to me waited a bit longer for their food which was awkward for me, but they got a discount I believe. I wanted to look at dessert menu but I was offered my bill instead lol overall it was nice to stop by.

The restroom is very clean and accessible, the lobby area is nice too, I wasn’t greeted by anyone there which is such a shame as my family member works in hospitality and I know it’s important to acknowledge people.

Overall, Bistro 72 is not at the level of food and service I would expect from the brand but it’s a good pit stop if you’re in the area. I think a rebrand and basic customer service skills would go a long way.

Back for another round and Bistro 72 did not disappoint! Food was plentiful and the servers were attentive. One of my favorite things about staying at this location is the poolside service, or the option for a sit down traditional dinner. Over the course of our stay we tried an assortment of their food: Buffalo Chicken Mac, Regular Mac, Twisted Pretzel, Avocado Toast, Buffalo Wings, House Salad with Shrimp. We enjoyed most of it! The drinks were great too.

We had 4 specials suggested by WAYNE, the best Waiter in town— shrimp risotto, paella, tequila clams and seared tuna. The drinks were raspberry lemon drop and lavender blossom martini. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was clear that the head chef is committed to and in charge of the kitchen. Go just to experience the highest service by waiter Wayne. He is friendly, kind, attentive, and the most thoughtful. We will return!

We went on a Friday night to celebrate anniversary. It was during the live band. Atmosphere and vibes were great !! We arrived late for our reservation but was still acommadated promptly. The food exceeded my expectations to say the least !! Full of flavor, portions were absolutely generous and the drinks were worth it. We had a variety of dishes such as the steak, chicken franchise and chicken wings. It did seem a bit slow at first but food still came out hot and fresh. Definitely will be back.

Great Tuesday deal- 3 shrimp (other options were pork & chicken) tacos & a handcrafted margarita for $20. We also tried other handcrafted drinks that were fabulous! Lavender Blossom and Espresso martinis $14. The evening was a blast with such a great bartender! They have Happy hour 4-7.

I came late in the evening, traveling for business, and super hungry. Bistro 72 was a couple of minutes away from my hotel and therefore I decided to give it a shot.
When super hungry I sometimes order too much food, which was the case here but I have to say both Nachos and Shrimp Tacos were super delicious and I’m happy that I found this hidden gem that is open until 11:00pm! Great for travelers! Cozy atmosphere and great staff, very professional and polite, like it should be!
I highly recommend them and would definitely return it back in the area.
Great job Bistro 72

Wonderful location for a family gathering. Private rooms are available with dedicated staff. Delicious appetizers, scrumptious entrees and amazing desserts. Great bar drinks (the Bloody Marys are terrific). Great staff, good food and reasonable prices. Give Bistro 72 a try.

We had Sunday brunch with the family and tried the following small plate/appetizers: Deviled Eggs (with a spicy kick), Crab Cakes, Tuna Tartar, Calamari and Twisted Pretel, all of which were good. The burger and fries portions were generous and well cooked. I tried the Buttermilk Chicken Sandwich which was tasty. I liked the different take on the coleslaw with fresh peppers. The French Toast was nothing special but it came with a lots of beautiful blackberries.
Our favorite dessert choice was the Chocolate Lava Cake.

Bistro 72 is located within Hotel Indigo. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is an enclosed dining area on the patio with heaters. Relax by the outdoor fireplace. Too, cool outside? You can dine by the indoor fireplace as well. The food is prepared to order and Bistro 72 is one of our favorite, close to home, places to eat. The buttermilk chicken sandwich with fries is reasonably priced and worth it! After dinner you can sit in the comfortable seating areas located in the lobby area.
