Open dining room with street entrance on the side, with colorful decor. Moderate noise, consistent with a busy restaurant. Friendly knowledgable wait staff the food is attractive to view and delicious. A carefully selected moderately priced wine list. Continental menu with an emphasis on fresh and local. A truly delightful dining experience.

I’ve come here for brunch a couple of times now with friends and the food here is great, I’m always surprised by how delicious it is. That being said the service is slow and inconsistent. They make a lot of mistakes. Last time the server took my friends glass to refill it and then brought it back to a completely different table! He noticed it a couple of minutes later and then went and removed it and set it down on the bar and never brought my friend a new drink… we had to flag him down and ask. It was weird and uncomfortable

Casual fine dining right on Penn Avenue. The service is impeccable and the menu won’t disappoint either. Seasonal offerings will delight the pallette, as well as, tasty cocktail choices and a great wine list, too.

Totally incompetent, clueless, classless staff. If you’re going to charge what they do here, you might want to properly train your staff! From not introducing themselves as your servers to having more time for sidebars with one another than attending to enjoy drinks, to not having a clue how to deal with a skunked bottle of wine, these Millennials ruined an otherwise decent meal. Couldn’t take constructive feedback, didn’t offer solutions, just clueless! Will never go back until owners take enough pride to teach their staff how to be polite and effective. We have a lot of choices on the Avenue, don’t bother making this one!

Really horrific. It is almost insulting the food they try and serve. The experience begins similarly to other area upscale dining establishments, however, once the main course came everything went down hill. Steak was extremely tough and dry (ordered med rare) and accompaniment was a train wreck. Nothing was done in order to solve the problem. This food was garbage. Don’t serve frozen low grade product to your customers. At least own up to it . Please please go to Mom Chaffe’ s or anywhere else. McDonalds serves better protein. This place is not for people enjoy good food. Bistro 614 is a place to avoid at all costs, unless you enjoy terrible food and dead fish hospitality.

Definitely above average on the food, servers did not lack effort, had some struggles, but pulled things together by the end. Pass on the duck but big thumbs up on the scallop, shrimp and crab dish.

The food was awesome, the service was awesome. But I found the aesthetic dowdy for $30 meal and $10 drinks.
I will definitely go back.

Friendly and professional service, outstanding food. European ambience. Upscale quality and price, but well worth it.
